Staggeringly bad movie that somehow becomes better as it goes along and by the end you're rooting for it. And what a cast--Robert Mitchum's a real stand-out. If you can see this in a pristine Blu-ray, do--the color scheme and set and costume design are everything in this movie. This drab washed-out print doesn't communicate anything of the extravagance of the movie.

My family saw this movie when i was a kid. I remember it well. I won't say what happens.

This movie is more dramatic then spooky or intriguing. Most dipictions of this story are more mysterious. Plus more makeup transformations. This one is based more on emotions. I think it’s an interesting film but it’s not as action based so it’s less exciting. You have to realize it’s an era based movie also. It’s their interpretation. Yes it’s slow.

People that do hard drugs will be sorry. That’s when the devil sends minions to take over your bodies and steal your souls. Pray to God and you might get your souls back. But you have to be honest it can’t be lies.

This film was a wink about homosexuality and transexuals. Yeah I know its a reincarnation theme, but hey, these 2 guys were best friends, and when one dies and then his soul is now in a woman, and then the man and woman hookup, even though its still a buddy story...well, what would YOU call it? There's been other films with a similar theme. I guess its a punch into gender roles

Probably the last film of Tyron Power.Privilidged to watch him in Jessy James n classic Razor’s Edge (1946) directed by Edmond Goulding.

BTW, reading through the comments, it is Obvious the Younger Minds don't have any idea what impotence means, and/or they are preoccupied with the relationship drama, and havent a clue of the real story.
