Dixie is a crazy Australian Shepherd I adopted after someone abandoned her on the side of the road as a puppy. She enjoys chewing everything she can get her mouth on, jumping onto tables and counters, and causing as much mayhem as she possibly can. Buckle up, sit back, and enjoy the show!

You should try to take her to a chiropractor who works on animals. She probably needs an adjustment to her top two vertebrae. It's a neurological thing when the nerves are being impinged. Cranial nerves move through that area.
No worries, she controls it completely. She only gets the shivers when I pretend to take her toy from her - you just can't see my hand since it's behind the camera, and she stops when I stop teasing her. She actually did have a full x-ray done (long story) when I first rescued her, and she got a clean bill of health!

We introduce a new ball or toy or bone every week in hopes that our boy does not chew the pillows, furniture or garbage cans. We buy the strongest chew toys on the market and so far it has worked. PS we also leave a basket out with all of his toys to pick from.
