That’s a weird way to do it. Most black belts would have the choke locked in after the snap down before the role. Unless you were just trying to show the camera how it looks to lock it in
@@stevenphillippe81 just another way to do it if you can’t get that locked up post snap mainly showing how my head and my hand act as a wedge to lock it up after the roll and yes this shows a good angle on locking up the grip. OSS
For people who may complain, understand that is very hard to do the technique right when u slow it down to show other's

I used the guard pull because my takedowns were trash. I've gotten better on my feet and thankfully don't resort to it unless nothing else has worked. Spending half the round fighting on the feet is annoying and a waste of energy.
@@bmstylee yea I’ll stand up for about 30 seconds max lol. After that I’m pulling guard or hopefully the opponent tries to pull guard on me.

I like that straight arm lock from the triangle set up because my legs are so shorts it’s very hard for me to finish the traditional triangle. Thank you for sharing!

Hell yeah, love me some Peterson Rolls. My coach is the Crucifix expert and catches us being lazy on it so it's a move I've had to really work to improve or else it's Arm Bar + Choke time for me.
Yea if I title this Peterson roll a lot of people have no idea what that is. That and the reverse cradle and sit out headhunter like I did in my first bjj video are my go tos. The main emphasis on this is getting the head low to the floating rip and bridging over can’t hang out there after the roll. Check out the short we posted along with this video. Are you using your heel to hook the bottom leg to facilitate the sweep? It's hard to see in the demo.
No I’m dropping my leg as I pull the top player towards me. The foot I have the spider hook with is pushing towards the side I’m sweeping. I’m basically dropping the foot I have on his hip when I pull him forward, essentially causing him to trip over it.
