Hey you all !!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for such a great explanation in layman's terms!
thanks for the lesson needed to know how to grove with a band gave me a sense of direction
This is the explanation I never got, wow. A huge help. Thank you
what if im both the singer and rhythm guitarist xD
Thank you Fred . This explanation really inspires music section appreciation. ( South Africa)
I liked it, but I wish we saw hands and guitar while you play
Thanks Fred, found this really interesting and informative. Is that a picture of you and “ The King” on the walk?! Please could you also do a video on dynamics?
monteirojude Thanks. That’s a poster of Robert Johnson on the wall. There’s also a photo of me and two guys I recorded my last Cd with
FredWoodard Fantastic. Look forward to more videos from yourself.
Fred ... just subscribed. Please keep it coming. Can you do one on how you mentally organize a solo/lead part?
That’s really good, I often think rhythm players are overlooked, sometimes their punchy choppy chords do it, sometimes it’s a gentle rolling backing. I like to watch a good rhythm guitarist, thank you for this😊
"WHYD YU DO IT!?.>.... MAKES ME WANTO LEARN HOW TO PLAY ONE OF THEM? (& im not usually into that sort of thing,,, so ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC JOB! ... just lovely.. divine.. enjoyable , energising... mucho appriciation
HOW INTERESTING! JUST BEAUTIFUL!! BIG THUMBS UP! :-) (Luv that little tapping on the drums ? sound? he is making? and ur passion on guitar is beautiful... its all beautiful... (sorry going on.. i just really enjoyed that! ... NAMASTE & MANY BLESSINGS TO ALL OF U!!
SO BEAUTIFUL! SO COLORFUL! I LOVE IT!
YOU ARE A really good teacher,, I THINK I REALLY Like u and relate to you... only thing is i couldnt see what u were playing to copy it... I KNOW THE A D G chords but FOR EXAMPLE the bass part U PLAYED- WELL im not that good yet to know it by ear "YET!*" (one day i will b) lol.. not sure where u came from?!... but looks like u got recomended suggestion to a bunch of new people? i will check out yr channel , see if i can go back to basics a bit or wat u exactly teach.... THANKU FOR UR TIME
Really Great stuff Fred- I play progressive heavy metal- but this translates to anything. After watching this I tried just riffing off the bass line in a song I’m working on instead of sustaining chords -and it ended up being perfect. Also like the diads idea a lot. Thanks man.
thank u so much!
Looking forward to next video showing hand movements....Thta was a nice simple video Fred...Thank you!
Great video Fred. I appreciate it. Thank you from London! ✌🏼
Thanks Fred! This is great simple info, the complex stuff is intimidating but your style of teaching allows me to focus on (making) music instead of the technical stuff. Really draws me back to why I started playing guitar in the first place :)
Thank you Fred! Many other videos are way focused on lead or just parts of the song. Real musicians need to play the entire song. I subscribed and would be stoked to see more videos.
Really cool video.
Hi Fred that’s great man, I’m only missing the hand movement 🙏🏿
Thank ya kindly. Good stuff. 🎶🎸🎶
Play bass idiot
Love all the memorabilia in the background Fred.
This is gold man, excellent teaching! 👌🏾
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of rhythm guitar playing. I'm a beginner and I like to actually see the hand movement, can you include that in your next video?
Robert Jones I’ll make a follow up one that shows the left and right hand techniques.
This got randomly recommended to me by YT. Great find for me! Please have your overall volume louder for your next one though, would make your playing sound even better.
thanks Fred
Great stuff!
Great to see you on youtube in 2014! You must be very proud of your son! He has beautiful "tone". Us there anywhere i could see this lineup perform live in the Boston area? Have some very Happy Holidays and a sparkling 2015.
Fantastic! A chip off the old block. Can't wait to see him.
Talented young man! <3 it! Great Job!
