GoPro Hero5 Review: Good for Motovlogs?
Переглядів 1417 років тому
If you want to purchase the bolts that I am using to secure the GoPro instead of the thumbscrews, they are : EVERBILT Cap Screws Size M5-0.8X20MM Home Depot. Cheap.. This review is kind of all over the place. I was having trouble with the camera. It was stopping the recording due to the voice control feature and the fact that I was saying GoPro a lot. I started and stopped this review at least ...

Right off the bat, I like that the color of the GoPro is Anthracite. Matches the helmet perfectly. I will be doing a full review of the Hero5 as soon as I have enough time with it to have an opinion. The mic I am using is the Giant Squid Audio Lab Omnidirectional Microphone. Bought it on Amazon Please Like, Comment, Subscribe! Suggestions Welcome.
Akrapovic Carbon Full Exhaust Review
Переглядів 3747 років тому
Thanks Mitchell for the suggestion for this video. Today I will review the Akropovic Carbon Full exhaust for the 2016 Yamaha FZ-09. Decibel reducer removed from the exhaust. High and low speed drive bys. Audio NOT enhanced in any way. Recorded with the internal mic of a GoPro Hero5 Black. The FZ needs a full exhaust. You can add a slip on but it will require you to cut the pipe. Not something a...

Yamaha FZ-09 Oil Change/Killed a bird/Deer Talk/Winter Riding Gear
Переглядів 2748 років тому
Ok listen, I made it as short as I could. I had to cut down over 2 hours of vlog. ;-) Changed the oil for the first time on this bike. Rode to the bank and along the way, a bird committed suicide against my bike. Some more deer advice. Night riding, men who drive Buick cars and some winter gear talk. Enjoy! I Hate Pennsylvania/Bike Withdrawl/Lucy The Elephant
I’m taking the second class today. I came into the class only learning a little bit about the friction zone and shifting to second gear. I stalled a lot, but overall I did good. Come to find out I was in second gear when I was stalling a lot. Once I fixed that, it improved. Today is my last class and watching this video will help me out. Thank you
This was so helpful! Thank you! I am taking my exam this weekend.
Just passed mine!! 😅 That was stressful!
I just took the msf course with no experience and passed. Highly recommend it and really listen to your instructors and be confident!
Thank you for including the part about the kick stand being down. I had that exact issue today and thought something was wrong with my bike until I discovered the same issue.
I wish it was this easy to get a licence in Sweden :(
Are these rules still in place? Is it still a Maximum of 5 points per course? Or have the rules changed? I failed my MSF today, after the second course the coach pulled me aside and said I had 15 points and that I failed the test, told me to go home.
Everyone was super confused because no one really that I did terrible. If anything other people were worse.
Great video. Our MSF test has been updated in 10 years and Michigan. I took a picture of the scoring sheet. You can get max 18 and Max 16 points on the first and second exercises for an autonatic failure after one if not two of thee exercises. There are max 5 items but its for one error type.
That one looked allright, was it simplified since ? I looked at other videos and it looked easier ! In europe the test is a little bit harder ! You have to do everything in one go : It starts with one hard slow section (you need to complete it in 14s or more, it's the hardest part to learn), then a full stop into a U turn, then the emergency braking (35mph to 0), a U turn with a passenger (you stop so your passenger gets down), slalom at 35mph, u turn, and then 35mph avoid. You can put your foot down 3times, but any foot down above 3 is considered a mistake, and you're only allowed 2 mistakes. Crossing a white line = elimination Stopping the bike outside of the regular stops = elimination Hitting an obstacle = elimination doing the slow course faster than 14s = elimination (doing it between 14 and 16s = 1 mistake, and 16s or slower = good) going slower than 35mph for the fast speed tests = elimination You will have a 2nd try, but you won't if you crash the bike or take a fall.
This was an awesome video. It has made me feel more confident in taking the class. I loved how well everything was explained in detail. Thank you
Just passed mine today. Super stoked. Didn't do perfectly but I did pretty good considering I've never been on a bike before.
Their way of “calculating speed” using a stop watch, is WAY TOO flawed. Some people accelerate slower than others. Some, faster. But if the slower one’s speed is higher than the fast accelerator, BAM… equation fails.
man those lines are messy..
our exercises were weighted differently in regard to points. some were 8 some were 6 some were 5 etc.
Only emergency brake and swerve at around 12 to 18 mph. No wonder why many American motorcyclists can’t use their brakes. Here in the uk we have to do minimum of 50kph for emergency and swerving a obstacle in our motorcycle exam.
I would like to know the paint code please.
Hope you're doing well
I like this. I'm a pretty lousy test-taker so this is appreciated.
Been riding 50+years never had a license kinda forgot i needed one but i have a class A CDL driving a heavy haul RGN I know each is different but hell counting bicycles been riding 55 years 😂 guess its to late for me to be reformed
I'm in Maryland and they have a one day course which is what i did. Its an intermediate course for ppl that have been riding for awhile and don't have a license. We did 5 hours on the course and 3 hours in a classroom with a test. They also have a 3 day course for beginner riders.
Is that a Suzuki GN125 you were riding?
And then in Europe you have to drive 8-9 lessons each 45 min in traffic
Took the class and passed. It helped me get my nerves on the bike in check and confidence way up. Now I am really comfortable on the bike now.
Nice vlog sir...
The keeping myself from putting either of my feet down has me a little nervous. Advice for that? Is there a way I can not have to pet them down at all?
I was told we could get 7 points...
La team plateau Fr, qui a rigolé ?
For the u-turn in the box, I'd honestly suggest practicing on a bicycle and just doing u-turns as slow and tight as possible, I hopped on a motorcycle for the first time about a week ago and did the u-turn first or second try after years on a bicycle
Yes it's not entirely the same, but it does help
Yea, that u-turn box can kiss my grits lol. It's just so tight, but I understand the needing the learn how to counter-weight, but I just couldn't do it. Only area I got points. I can do u-turns on the road no problem, but in the class, the box was just too tight in my opinion. Also, in Florida, now at least, it's 15 points to fail and you can get multiple infractions during 1 test. And there's 5 tests that we had to do.
I failed the first time. I got a motorcycle for my birthday, which is in July. I looked up the course schedule at my local community college, and saw there were 3 classes, so I signed up for one. What I didn't know is that they run the course all year. I didn't have to pick July, I could have waited for fall, but I didn't know. So it's 100 degrees, I'm in long sleeves, long pants, gloves, boots, helmet. Been out in blazing sun all day, got dizzy, and couldn't understand the instructions for one of the maneuvers.
Yea, I did mine in July too in Florida. Terrible mistake. 110 F not even at the height of the day lol. I was cramping so bad during the first day I thought I might of had to quit. But I soldiered on and made it cramping 12 hours later.
Wait so when you had to downshift into 1st and stop did you keep the clutch pulled and brake cause if not then as far as i know it wouldve stalled if the bike wasnt moving right? *i dont know much about bikes but im tryin*
Rule # 1 lean how to ride a bicycle before you go
Thank you.
If this is tough for you park bike get a car.
Thanks for sharing
Great video, especially your POV.
I am about to take a course here in Ohio if I pass the class I don't have to do the driving part when I do the license tests.
You should come back to UA-cam it’s been 6 years
you still alive?
You have really helped me destress a bit. I use a semi automatic scooter myself. (Honda 2020 125c Super Cub). Due to it not being similar to a motorcycle, i had to learn a lot of new things. My class is tomorrow and im stoked to get it all done and over with. The only thing im worried about is my foot to peg coordination is off. So having to kick a stick up and down within 5 seconds will be challenging for me. My Super Cub has 2 sticks instead of the 1 a motorcycle has.
Is this similar to Maines exam?
Damn i was just recommended this video out of nowhere after i just was looking up the cost of bikes in my area... those algorithms are good!!
You talk to much
I’m in NJ took/failed the course 3 weeks ago we did a few hours in the classroom and 5 hrs on course day 2 and 4 hrs riding day 2 then tested. I got 11 points off by ex 3 for putting my foot down and going too slow and was told I failed out.
Pass the MSF course and then go to the Netherlands and do that test. You'll fail 99% of the time with no further practice than the MSF course, the standard for the motorcycle license in the Netherlands is brutally high😂
In Texas now, basic course is required for an endorsement, but they did away with the driving test. Course is $300. Like the guy in the video, they let me go first because I had shown some competence on the bikes, even though I was a new rider. I did well once the bike was in motion, but stalled a lot, and ended up being the only one to fall off the bike during practice drills (right turn from a complete stop in second gear, ended up giving too much throttle and over compensated with the hand brake). Luckily I didn't make any of those mistakes during the actual test and got a perfect score.😅
Damn, it's tougher in Oregon. I messed up on 2 tests because I was so nervous, did perfect on the other 3. Failed
I think it's crazy that in the USA new riders are allowed out on the road and all they need to do is pass such a basic test. Here in the UK one needs far more training to obtain a full licence, and younger riders are restricted to lower powered machines. I have watched a few of Dandanthefireman's videos on motorcycle accidents, and am astonished at how stupidly some people over there ride. I have ridden for over forty years, and was an instructor back in the 1980s: l see very little dumb riding on our roads, and the accident rate is far lower than it used to be.
are there dimensions anywhere to set up practices
one weird thing i found out is that everything is exaggerated when you are the one on the bike, you feel like you are leaning more than you actually are, you feel like you are going faster than you actually are. But then when you look at others doing it, it looks like children's play
Can’t stress how important it is to STAY CALM, like the man said. If you’re freaking out about each exercise and stiffening up, your riding is gonna suck. I passed by making myself chill out, and it’s not easy but you can do it. Any day of riding is a good day, remember? So have fun! :)
Exactly how I find myself, even during practicing.. I hate tests and end up shutting down. I have to get off my bike to stretch and take some breaths, calm down so I can focus and go again.
I just started riding on dirt bikes... once I got used to it I found I was able to keep my hands and arms a lot more loose instead of death gripping the bars.... it helped a lot.. went riding some trails yesterday, and it was some of the most fun I've had in my life.
