Hey man. Most of the tabs I found were weird so I had to watch videos of alexi playing it and I learned it that way.

Yes that’s economy picking. Alternate picking that would make it 10x harder unnecessarily haha

Haha you must be a big necrophagist fan. I fell in love with this guitar because of Mehmet Suicmez. I haven’t played any of their songs for over 10 years now, idk if I can play them now tbh.

LaythBodom Yeah I’m a necrophagist worshipper, brilliant guitar, brilliant band too. Just heard that ibanez is remaking the xiphos model yesterday, the look is no where compared to the original xiphos tho but still awesome. I did some necrophagist covers but I post them on my facebook because they aren’t perfect due to the timing being all over the place. I will open a youtube channel soon if I can play them cleaner ^^

My take isn’t perfect either. If you listen closely, you can catch a couple of instances where I rush a few notes here in there haha. My only advice is to play this to a metronome until you get it to sound up to speed and identical to the solo on the record. It took me a long time to figure out these notes and I didn’t have a software to isolate the guitar tracks, but i’m happy with the end result. At the end of the day I’m not Alexi, and that’s fine :D

@@Bodom92 Yeah I know, I just switched my picking technique recently so I'm again working my way up with the metronom. We will never ever reach Alexis skills tho haha

@@ChristianVirial being able to play accurately to a metronome is the most satisfying experience for a guitar player in my opinion. Alexi composed most of his sickest solos when he was in his late teens and early twenties. I’m almost 29, so I think it’s too late already. You’re either born a god or a peasant, and i’m the latter hahaha

You can do it too man, just keep practicing. That’s also my favorite part of the solo haha

Yuval X that’s awesome man! Great work on all instruments. You might wanna cut down the bass a bit, coz it’s not sitting right in the mix. Keep doing what you’re doing man, I subscribed. To improve your Leads I recommend you develop your alternate picking and using a metronome will keep your playing tight 👍👍

DivebombJ thanks a lot man. I really appreciate it. It took me a long time to get my vibrato to sound half decent. I got all sorts of blisters on my finger tips whenever i attempted to bend the high E string lol
