MODEL TRAINS Exporail Show 2024 O Scale 3 Rail Toy Train Layout With Nice Assortment of Trains

An assortment of interesting toy trains make a circuit on this two level O Scale 3rd Rail toy train layout. The curves and tight radius of the tracks are maximizing the layout for action, with a second tier dog bone layout for a small steam train. On the main lines a streamlined steam era passenger train in Pennsylvania Tuscan red circles with a modern CN diesel. Parked on the layout are CPR and CN engines and various freight cars fill sidings.

AUGUST 18 2024 at 5 30 PM While returning to Central Station Westbound on the REM there is a slower Via Rail Venture Trainset on parallel tracks also heading to Central Station with SCV-42 up front. Also on closest track are two F40PH-2 engines back to back on The Ocean Sleeper train to Halifax with Budd baggage car and ex British Rail Renaissance equipment.

Is there a time when there's a lot of traffic or is it random when they come by? Guessing there is more action toward 4 or 5 PM?
There is some traffic in early afternoon, but mostly between 5 and 7 PM

I live in NYC. And when I visited Montreal a couple weeks ago, I was astounded by their Métro. It’s so fast and modern. It hasn’t stopped once in the tunnel between stations. New York subway is such garbage compared to this.
The Metro isn't perfect, but NYC subway is one of the original transit systems so it can use an upgrade, also NYC is easily 2x the size of Montreal and has way more complex transit system

This is one of my favorites at train shows here the montreal area. As your description states its made for long trains and do they ever run long trains.

Fantastic Museum. We are very lucky to have Expo rail here in the greater Montreal area. They have an outstanding collection.
Unfortunately Exporail falls short of the great Railway museums in the US, but they have a good collection, wish more could be restored to running status.
