Pivotal Pedalboards
Приєднався 16 чер 2022
Pivotal Pedalboards are made-to-order custom designs with a choice of deck profiles, custom finishes, and expandability options tailored to suit any player. Available in two distinctly different styles, every pedalboard is handcrafted using quality hardware and CNC machined parts.
The X-Series is a patent-pending breakthrough design offered in three sizes. An expanding deck mechanism allows for massive storage as well as a compressed footprint for travel. The 3 row layout is ideal for switchers, loopers and MIDI controllers.
The P-Series is a 2-tier system in four sizes, designed for use with or without switchers and enough functionality to accommodate almost any sized setup.

Expanding Pedalboard - Layout and Wiring Tips for a Compact Setup
The X-Series from Pivotal Pedalboards represents a modern breakthrough in compact pedalboard design. Thanks to an innovative patent pending design, these feature-packed pedalboards actually expand on stage when it’s time to play and shrink back down to a more manageable size when it’s time to transport, travel and store them.
In this video we’ll show the full build process of an in-house pedalboard setup. We’ll cover board selection and layout planning, gathering components, signal path and wiring, cable organization, and effective labeling.
This rig uses our X14 pedalboard for a compact but very capable setup, featuring 9 pedals with full switcher control, MIDI functionality, audition loop, and external MIDI, USB, and DC power.

I need buy one
All models can be ordered through the website, cheers!
Finally…
This is nice. But I definitely wouldn't want to love this thing around.
Trying to get these in the UK
Does the X26 fit it in an overhead?
The most common carry on dimensions are 22x14x9 which is the size of the X20. The X26 is a little too large for carry on. Cheers!
That's great! The next step would be to put all your pedals in a portable rack case in the backline and just use a wireless MIDI controller.
The X14 is a little too small for the board I want but the X20 is way too large. I think a 16 would be perfect.

These guys are so underrated!!!
Thanks! 👍
What about price?
Lots of information and pricing is available on our website www.pivotalpedalboards.com Cheers!
Take my money.
Is this sturdy enough to use without a loop switcher?
Yes, all X-Series models are very solid and suitable for use with or without switching systems. Cheers!
Beautifil build!
Thank you, cheers!
This has to be the best pedalboard I’ve ever seen!
Thanks for the kind words Dan. Cheers!
So it would seem.
Can you reorder each side of the stereo pairs? For example, using loop 4 into loop 1
With the RJM PBC6X, if the system is being used in dual mono mode as it is here then loops 1-11 can be completely reordered on a preset by preset basis. In this mode, each stereo pair from the switcher can become 2 mono loops and placed where ever you like in the signal chain. Hope this helps, cheers!
Fantastic!
Your pedalboards are amazing and I am new to you guys. First time even hearing of you which, for how killer these are, is truly surprising! Interest definitely peaked!
Thanks Josh! Cheers

Lots of awesome ideas here, really love the design. A little pricey.... but very well thought out. Is there an option to have the IEC cable plugged in without extending the 2nd tier? in some situations a smaller board is better and having the option to have access to just the top row on smaller stage might be be useful. Awesome work!
We do have the option of a PowerCon AC connector shown at 4:26 in our AUX 3 panel that could power you through the side wall instead of the IEC connector. Cheers!
@@PivotalPedalboards awesome! Thanks for the reply, will definitely consider when it's time for an upgrade.
