Oh no you went somewhere and it didn't look exactly like it did on Instagram with all the filters and editing. Oh no that's so sad for you

It's not so much about pictures on Instagram, but influencers and content creators that hype Canggu up to be THE SPOT in Bali, and I did not hear many opinions balancing Canggu in the other direction. We are just trying to be honest about our own experience to set more realistic expectations for others

Right now South Korea has overtaken Japan in culture & also economically. Japan is stagnating right now.

Good point! I know both countries have declining birth rates and an aging population, which is interesting

How so? I usually come up with the podcast ideas and create a loose outline for the episode, so I tend to drive the show and control the flow a bit more than her. However, I don't want to come across as controlling so I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Little unsolicited advice, it’s easy to tell you guys aren’t showing your true personalities. Be yourselves and make the videos more interesting!

They're racist and xenophobic we know it, just say it instead of tip toeing around the issue.

There definitely is racism and xenophobia, but I'm trying to not generalize - we met plenty of super warm, welcoming older people in Korea who made us feel like unofficial grandchildren at times

Nice! A few photos of your favourite corners would be nice!
