I am a Professor for the Learning Design and Technology (LTEC) Department in the College of Education at University of Hawaii at Manoa. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems from Florida State University (FSU). I was fortunate enough to have gone through my doctoral program at a time with the best of the best in the field as professors such as Robert Gagne, Leslie Briggs, Walter Dick, Walter Wager, Robert Reiser, Robert Morgan, Roger Kaufman, David Redfield, Sydney Grant, and Vaughn Mancha.
I have created this channel for two reasons, first as a way to improve my students’ access to my lectures, and second as a way to archive my work and provide a legacy for those who come after. I welcome anyone to use it, enjoy it, and subscribe. I would appreciate if you’d let me know if you are using if for your courses.

A good review of the survey tool alows me to discuss and know the essential items
good but the examples are not enough.
Thanks
Thank you so much Dr., your video are very informative and easy to understand. I would like to ask if you can provide us with part 3 of Front End Analysis
Can I ask a question, what is the length of instruments and range of difficulty in evaluation?
Thank you very much!
Great series! Thank you for doing this Dr. Fulford.
Very informative. Lots of detailed information on observations and field notes. Thank you for sharing Dr. Fulford! - Ilisa

Very nicely done, Doc! Do I hear a little bird chirping in the background? 😉
Funny! Yes you do!
Thanks, Catherine! I thought your viewers might like this example of an instructional analysis ua-cam.com/video/QTa6qHjjEl0/v-deo.html - thanks so much for sharing!
This is what i was looking for! Thank you for your sharing your knowledge! I hope i could see more videos about this topic
Very clear....keep it up!
Thank you for your help!
Thanks for the great video. I have a question about inductive and deductive approaches. Inductive was described as a more direct approach where students are provided with the information whereas deductive was described as more exploratory. For me, this sounds backwards. My understanding of inductive is that students are given the examples and are to find the patterns, which sounds more exploratory. Deductive is where they are given the rule first and then look at examples. This way of describing inductive and deductive comes from my experiences as a language teacher.
It is very useful, thanks.
Thank you for the tremendous amounts of helpful, well-organized information in this video.
Thank you so very much for this video!
What happened to part 3?
part 3?
Thank you so much for leaving these up. I have ADD and reading is so hard for me. Your videos are helping me make A's in my graduate program. - Wendy (on husband's account)
The systemic approach on education is based on creating a proper an aligned to the mission and vision environment to contyrol ,coordinate and implement the processes ,operations ,activities and tasks of a given class ,so sad that none of the videos fullfill any of my expentancies
I watched it on 1.5x speed, great stuff and on point. Having learned the Navy's end to end process through the MTS program while active duty, I recently got a job as an ISD and instantly subscribed to your channel. Very informative and some of the same mnemonics I learned in 2012.
Thank you maam for your explanation. I would be obliged if you could explain me about the figure and tables text that it should be written in Serif rather than Times New Roman front 12. Right now i am doing my thesis in APA 6th format . Hoping your kind response on it.
Feel free to use this for yourself or for you class. I would love to hear your comments about how you use it.
This is perfect for a group writing project that I'm doing with my high schoolers. Thank you for the time & effort that it took to produce this wonderful resource.
Thanks! Great job breaking down instructional analysis! I'm sure it's not easy to describe this seemingly complex process in a concise, clear way.
very fast (had to pause & rewind often so as not to just have this info go in one ear & out the other) - if you could consistently use an example of a learning module that is taken through this process, it would really help me retain what you are saying.
