How does the central application work if my personal statement and recommendation is tailored to the specific program i am applying, like if i am applying to a program in Florida in my personal statement I will explain why I am a good fit for that program, but that personal statement won't work for the one in Michigan do you submit, one personal statement per program or do you not talk in your personal statement why you a good fit?
Thank you for your question! The DICAS application has 4 parts. 3 parts are standard to all programs and then part 4 changes for each program based on the specifications of the program. Part 4 is where the personal statement is housed. The applicant can personalize their statement and respond to any other additional questions the program asks. This will allow the personal statement to be unique for each program. As for references and transcripts, here is ACEND's response in their FAQ section of the 2024-2025 pilot season: "If you are using DICAS, you only need to upload one set of transcripts for all the programs you select within DICAS. Note however, some graduate schools may require an additional set of transcripts. If you apply to programs that are not using DICAS, you may need to order another set of transcripts for each of these programs. This also applies to your letters of recommendations/references"
