@@motomaddox it’s sounding really nice. Gasket doesn’t quite fit properly so need to get a different one but botched it for now. Pops and bangs like fuck whilst riding, doesn’t pop and bang whilst revving though which I thought it would ?

I'm not sure if the restricted version is setup exactly the same. I would check to see if the option for the charger comes up directly from the kawasaki accessories link directly from kawasaki. That would be a good indicator/confirmation.

Visibility is great for both mirrors. The fenrir mirrors are both clear and stable. I haven't noticed any excessive or distracting vibrations from them.

Yup. I have no complaints with how my exhaust sounds. Just what I was going for. Great ride, we definitely have to do more ride outs on our end!

Appreciate that. I think my video setup is good, but I still want to make a few tweaks to the audio with this new helmet. And i agree about the Corbin and mirrors, your bike doesn't need anything else. I'm still down for a dyno run. It would be good to see how this thing is really doing.

I did not experience any fitment issues. I just had to really be patient with positioning the header pipes before tightening everything down.

Yes. The diameter of the black widow headers are LARGER than stock/original.

I'm not sure, but I would think that any kawasaki models that have the underseat usb harness/connection would be similar. If you confirm, let us know as someone else may read this comment thread and it could help someone out.

HA! Of course the money plays a big part here. There's the old adage of: "Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday", but these brands have to have more than money to equip these riders. That's were all of these safety standards come into play, and for motorcycle racing, that involves the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Racing Homologation Program.

Great questions B6! The latest Ruroc Atlas 4 is ECE 22.06 certified, which is no small accomplishment for any motorcycle helmet manufacturer. That is a universally accepted safety standard, and disproves a lot of the subjective and negative opinions about the brand. I've personally been impressed with the company as they've improved the helmet almost yearly since they came out with motorcycle helmets in 2019. I've always appreciated the innovation, and "bold" designs as well. It was the unique design that drew me to the brand in the first place. I know there have been some popular content creators who have had their negative takes on the brand go viral, but the safety certification speaks for itself. Now FIdlock vs Double Ding Ring...I get the hesitancy, but again I commend the push for innovation, and I haven't seen or heard and scientific tests that indicate the Fidlock mechanism doesn't function as intended. Now I can say that the fit and finish of my early Atlas 1 model is rough. The visor doesn't fit perfectly flush like my Bell or Suomy, the Visor mechanism isn't very smooth, and there is a significant amount of wind and air flow through and around the helmet - but that's also why I like it for really hot summer days! Bottom line, if someone likes the design(s) of Ruroc, I'd say go for it! But with that being said, my new Suomy is sweet!

@@motomaddox Moto Maddox shooting straight as usual. I was surprised at the ece rating. I’ve looked into safety ratings when looking up my LS2, and that’s one of the big ones. Guess it’s all subjective. Thanks Maddox, and that new Suomy lid is sweet.

...forgot to answer the question about the tinted face shield. It does not artificially color the view, and I get great visibility with all my tinted face shields.

Hey I missed this comment. Did you ever figure out the problem? I know I had to take extra care to make sure I removed the original header gaskets/washers and replace them with the new crush washers that came with the new kit. I also just hand tightened the bolts until I felt the pipes where aligned well. I can't recall exactly what order I tightened the bolts, but I believe I worked from the inside out, being careful to tighten each one a little at a time to minimize uneven pressures one one side or another.

Thanks for checking out the channel. My 2022 didn't come with the OEM c-spanner in the tool bag. I've heard some manufacturers have in the past, and maybe still do provide this. But it appears none of the last few model year Z900's did. I agree it would be nice to have the tool - I'd just need to confirm exact fitment/compatibility of the tool and my bike. There are a lot of them out there...

Appreciate the note. There is also an electrical connection at the front of the bike as well on the Z900 near the headlight - just FYI.

If you removed the original gaskets and replaced them with brand new crush washers, you should be able to get a good seal as long as the bolts are tightened properly. Regarding the deceleration pops, those are harmless. But if you want to get rid of the noise, you can block off the AIS/PAIR valvle.

Hey, i did tighten the bolts completely but it still leaks a lot, should i try replacing the black widow gaskets with kawi gaskets?? please help i am out of solutions ​@@motomaddox

@@vinaynair2054 I'm not sure if new Kawi OEM gaskets will work as they may have a different inner diameter than the black widow ones. You may have to confirm, because if they are different sizes, you may need to just get another fresh set from black widow. You did remove the kawi ones right? Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble with this.

@@motomaddox hey i did remove the existing kawi gasket rings then installed these, in the black widow manual it was written to replace the oem gaskets only if damaged. So i think it shouldnt be a issue right?

That's what I've heard. I do have Ktech at the top of my list if I ever do feel the need to update the suspension. They also seem to have a good dealer/distribution/support network in the U.S. as well. Thanks for the note!

HA! I guess those boxer engines do have a distinct sound. My 650 fully transformed once I put that full exhaust on it!
