This song is Me I have to stay away from the man i married and loved with all of me and now i am having to accept that its over. I was abused by the man that was the truth of me for 7 years. This time i am surrendering to the reality of things. Im going to die and his life will be in jail for murder. I cant have that for either of us. I now have PTSD in the aftermath. I am going through so much grief and disappointment and fear thar its very rare i feel anything else and if i do its from laughter but even in my laughter there is Pain. The shame of what he has caused for us and in my life and what its caused me to become is also present. This song is me. <3 All the way! Ive lost it all. I even lost myself. All i have now is the pain and the shame that i lost it all. I kept going back out of fear intimidation control and manipulation. I even lost my children for the repetative domestic violence in the precsense of a child. Even our own child. He reported it the first time an arrest was made for strangulation and assault×2 just as soon as he got to jail so that shed be placed into the system with his sister who throughout the court process and trials we ended up together again. He only got 5 years probation and i had stopped breathing as he strangled me staring down when he made his 2nd grip to take a better hold and stop me from breathing plus had a fractures rib from the assaults. I lost it all. Even almost my life. Then the nightmare didnt end. My daughter was taken from the home by the state and put into a saftey plan that very next day. They said for the domestic violence and a history of drug use and i wasnt allowed to even see her until they drug screened. I passed that test and every single one i was given after. I still lost it all. His sister had worked dispatch over 20 years and the court was basically a buddy system for her to get custody. They even set the visitation to be supervised and since she worked different shifts as dispatcher they added that it also be done at her discretion which gave her the right to refuse which she did. She used the covid virus as the excuse said for the safety care and concern for her they would be no visitation due to it. Thing is tho...she let her out to go to family of hers one lives 5 minutes away from me yet i cant win a fight with a buddy system and i cant afford a miracle working lawyer to win for me and so yeah.. I lost it all. Then lost more when PTSD episodes started after this past arrest the husband got. Ive had 6 episodes since they started in dec. When im triggered my fight kicks in cause i never fought him id take a flight response instead so now my fight has kicked in from refusal of being in that corner of abuse and the 6 was my own mom also one was my niece so now what was left is gone. I lost it all. Besides the pain and shame. A whole book is in the story of what all happened and the ways id be traumatized and what happened after up to this day but i cant write it here and im not ready yet to write a book although i really should but its difficult to do anything in life cause i dont really have one. Ive lost it all.
