Hello! First of all thank you so much for being brave and throwing your question to me. After seen this comment I’ve talked with few people. It will depend on a lot on what environment you are. Would be different by the culture you are in and how you are independent from your family. But being apart from a specific country’s culture, I want to say this case is general more than we think and there are a lot of people understanding properly. So don’t be afraid even some people near you have a very different view about this. Plus, if you are quite independent from your family it’s a good timing to open as well. But I’m not saying, ‘be independent from your family’. I’m saying, you might have to prepare yourself to debate about this and have a long talk about what being trans means. If you feel like your coming out is being met by hostility and rebelling against your parents might feel like the only option, but still you have to keep in mind that this might take some time for your parents to process. I think parental approval is important in the coming out process so explain to them that their support is really important to you. And try to avoid coming out during stressful periods, consider different means you can use to come out like starting with letter! Hope this will be helpful at least and I truly hope you to be comfortable soon!
