You are an icon Ralph Lauren and you are very handsome and would have made an amazing movie star. Glad you went into fashion though because you were meant to be an inspiration to many. I watch the shows in awe. You have been my inspiration for the autumn/winter season and were for the spring summer.

Thanks Ralph for recognizing my talent in retail and being the first designer to make me a specialist in your brand in the 90s shortly after the start of my retail career. I made sure my nephews had your brand to wear to school because it was and still is the nicest brand of clothing in the entire world. We never questioned who he is.

Great interview, thanks for sharing. The '90s were a different time when it came to doing interviews compared to how they do now. I was surprised that Charle Rose tried to box Ralph into a corner.

He was definitely obsessed with WASP culture which tbh is underappreciated, and definitely has style and essence but he should quit the cowboy look, looks ridiculous like a little child or midget rodeo clown

Ralph is the ultimate designer because his designs were tasteful and timeless whereas other designers designed for trends. His style was classic romatic and beautiful. He is a man of taste above all others. I love every single ralph lauren purchases

Ralph is the embodiment of understated class. Been wearing Polo since my Mom bought me a white button down oxford in 1967 when Polo was first introduced at Marshall Fields in Oakbrook, Illinois. Remember that day like it was yesterday.
