Having an issue with this type of input. When selecting "Vegetables" I want to add a note to Onions, but setting this into the Calculation script automatically overwrites notes. If I move it from Calculation to Validation script, I can make notes, but there is a delay in the populated data wherein i have to make a second change to get it to update. calculateNow function doesn't help in either state. validation can't be adjusted in Set Field Calculation Order. I already have the Commit immediately option checked. I need the script to both update immediately and allow for additional text in the box once the dropdown is selected.

How do you go back and edit what auto populates

Are we able to do this on checkboxes or dropdown? like make a stamp where a person can select a dropdown or check a box?

I was able to replicate the code and set up the limitation in my document with no problem, EXCEPT…I am trying to set up the same interaction with 30 check boxes, instead of 6. I know you call this variation out in the comments below in your reply to @jakubmalinowski1474 (“…If you have 10 checkboxes and want to limit only 3 checkboxes then replace '6' with '10' (at line 5), rest of the code will remain same.), but there is something off about any number of checkboxes above 9…maybe to do with double digits? In my doc, the script works fine for the first 9 check boxes. However, boxes 10-30 do not respect the script and allow multiple checks beyond the desired 3. And stranger still, if 3 boxes within the 10-30 range *are* checked, the limitation still applies to boxes 1-9, disallowing a 4th box to be checked in that range. If it’s not too much trouble, I wonder if you can tell me what I’m doing wrong? I’ve tried adjusting parts of the script, but nothing seems to work. My variation on the script is below, and all my checkboxes are named correctly (as far as I can tell), cb1 through cb30. Thanks so much!

For those having the issue with the text colour, i found it was because .textcolor is case sensitive and should have a capital 'C'. What if we have over 10 checkboxes? it seems like \d$/ affects only one-sign sized numbers...

What if i want to populate one "target dropdown" with two different "source dropdown" so I get combined data. For example I choose source 1 to populate: trim and I use source 2 to populate: bushes. Then my target dropdown reads trim / bushes.

Do you need an option for every source option in order for it to work? My Target Dropdown remains blank and when I click on it I hear that error chime.

If I have a Dropbox name that will not have a dependent answer in the text, how do I make is show blank? Right now it will just show what was previously selected.

Is it possible to do another box? For instance, I need the main box to have the name of a building. Depending on what is selected, the second box will display address. But I need a third box to display a phone number that matches.
