I blame the owner. Hes clearly not following directions, he got his dog tazed or peppersprayed. He could have said let me put my dog inside so we can deal with this situation. Even if the cops are wrong, resisting is never the smart move.

LEOs are trained to say stop resisting while placing you in cuffs. Proper enforcement is to inform you that you are being placed under arrest. LEOs abandoned that law because it gives the victim a split second to resist the arrest. So now they grab you without informing you, anyone would resist unwanted handson..this is how the resisting charges are placed against you. Most jurors are not aware that the person was never told that he was being placed under arrest, therefore what see on camera is a suspect/victim resisting. People wake up to these tyrannical methods of law enforcement, if we do not, we the people have no chance againt government...Peace

100 percent yes, i feel sorry for the dog hes protecting his owner but this is exactly why as a responsible person you don't resist arrest. A responsible person would not have resisted, calmly be taken into custody and worled with law enforcement for a safe outcome for their dog. This is how you get your innocent dog shot because you're too self absorbed.

HOW can they release the footage with the mutes in it. Seriously what is the point in dash/body cams if they can mute or redact whatever they want. Of course the dog is going to protect their owner, all the dog can see is two people attacking their owner. Maybe if these cops done it the right way they could have driven the dog back to its home or put the dog into the car first with the guys assistance. Its like they want to have the opportunity to maim or kill people & pets. Unless this guy had warrants & was known to police or committed a crime not long ago, then this was unjust! I think this guy was probably calling the cops out that they can't just arrest him or get ID unless he did something that I mentioned before. Of course thats just my assumption but him saying "you can't just do this unless you suspect me of committing a crime" is a tell tale sign that he probably said something along those lines. Cops cannot stand when their authority is tested when people know their rights. He is %100 going to win this if he takes it to court.

Great advice! ALWAYS research before deciding to take a pet. If you can't guarantee you'll have the time and money to properly care for the animal, then the responsible thing to do is wait until you can. Taking in a pet is a HUGE responsibility. Your life will change beyond recognition when ou live with an animal. They NEED certain things, like company, outdoor space, routine, good food, veterinary care, equipment, exercise daily, and lots more things thich don't always sound as serious as they are.
