Hiking the Lake District | Using Public Transport
Переглядів 306Місяць тому
In today's video, I use public transport from Kendal to the Langdales to show how accessible some of the most beautiful places are in the Lake District. As of the time of recording, buses such as the 516 from Kendal are £2 each way which saves money while accessing beautiful landscapes.

Great video 🙂👍
Thank you!
@LiamGalashan 👍🙂
Hi. Came across this. Fantastic scenes in the video 🙂👍
Thank you!
Superb imagery. Capturing the "moods of the mist" so to speak is something I'm aspiring to now that I'm back into photography. You're already there and this video showcases that nicely. New subscriber here. Thanks for your insightful commentary. 👍👍
Really appreciate your kind words. It’s been just over a year since I started doing videos so I’m extremely grateful
@@LiamGalashan Well you've sure progressed a long way in your video technique. I tip my hat to you! 🎩I'll enjoy watching the rest and will look forward to more when you have the time and the photography gods align for you 👍 Thanks
Very very good video thanks you like 👍🤩
Thank you!
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍34
Very kind words! Thank you!
Great idea for a video man, some great photos! Subbed!
Thank you! Really appreciate it!
Sumptuous video and fabulous captures. Congrats!
Glad you enjoyed. Thank you!
Ahhhhh 👌🏻
The drone has opened up a whole new can of whupass
The conditions were like DAYUUUM!
Bohhh
Thank you, Andy. Was a cracking morning!
Great stuff, Liam 👏 Looks like you had a lovely morning and some great shots to show for it.
Great results . NICE
Thank you!
Wonder, About how many miles might you walk when you set up your video to catch you approaching and passing your video. Just wondering.
Surprisingly not that many! It can be a bit stressful if I’m trying to get to a location fast when the conditions are good. The perks of having a small pocket camera to do all that makes it a lot quicker
Thank you for sharing your adventure. You have my sub. Greetings from Poland.
Thank you for the sub! It’s greatly appreciated!
Great video I'll watch your others ✅▶️🆒
Thank you!
Great stuff, Liam 👏🏻👏🏻 looks like is was a great day and some great shots. Thank you for taking us along with you.
Thanks for watching. Greatly appreciated!
You reckon I can camp there for a month deep in the Lake District without getting kicked out
Probably can as long as you are above the fell line. Roughly 400m or 500m but you’ll have to consider conditions and how the weather changes. It’s an unspoken rule to camp in the lakes as long as you are high up in the fells then it’s all good
@@LiamGalashan thanks for replying what’s the fell line?
@@CCC-me7lh it’s usually marked out by the dry-stone walls. It’s usually open access for everyone. You’ll see sheep grazing at that height so bare that in mind. I’d recommend camping away from paths to avoid the public. Also you’ll have to move regularly to avoid any issues with the public. It can be very wet high up in the hills so bring good waterproof gear. I hope this helps!
@@LiamGalashan it did thank you
Great place man, you edited and filmed this so beautifully!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. It’s a lovely spot
Aww that's awesome 🥰🥰
Thank you!
Man, there should be more likes
That would be nice!
Great photos! The scenery is amazing c:
It really is!
That beautiful nice❤
Thank you! 😊
Awesome video mate! need to keep it up. Complete natural on camera and was such a great watch 👏🏻
Really appreciate it! If only I had the time to do more! Weather in the UK is not the best 😂
Great video. This is one of my favourite places and a great place to camp while avoiding the crowds.
K n ow i5s not
Do you have a link to the route or where you camped? I’m wanting to try for the first time and this route looks amazing!
It’s on the west side on Loch Etive which is accessible from near Taynuilt. There are many places to see en route if you ever get the chance
Hi Liam, Beautiful place! Where did you park? Sorry but I can’t figure it out from the map. Thanks
I parked near Bonawe. You’ll see a road that runs alongside the loch. Go as far as you need as there are many places you can check out
Oh and you forgot a fishing rod..
I was just there...
UA-camrs are mad... Park up car, get out of car, set up camera, get back in car, then get back out of car like ive just arrived...
Absolutely amazing nice sound . Hi laim I recommended you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak Gilgit-Baltistan Barah Valley. Add this sound in your bucket list.
Great idea! I would love to visit the Himalayas in the future. Thank you for recommending
@@LiamGalashan thanks for reply. Me and himalayan sounds always welcome you guys 🥰
If you are taking dehydrated food buy some TEXAS SPG seasoning to ad to it,makes most taste like 10/10 . £20 though but will last 3 years easy 👍
23 like very nice video Hello brother my friend 👌💯🙋
I see A7III in gear but I am wondering what are you using for vloging, especially when I can see the camera on your chest, because the footage is super smooth?
ohh I could see osmo pocket 3 from your sun glass, the result is just amazing.
Yeah it’s incredible! The quality, size and stabilisation is the best. This is shot in auto too without any colour grading
The scenery is so beautiful. Really love this vlog
Good intro to the drone. Curious if you considered the 4?
I didn’t consider it due to it being more expensive and the sensor in the camera is the same I believe. The only other one I would consider at this stage would be the DJI Air with two cameras
Great choice of background music for the shots, worked really well 👍
Nice work.
Beautiful landscapes and video 👍
Mine was because it was on sale in my local store😂
Pretty cool 😊
2:30 walked past a awesome tree in the background...
That’s annoying haha. Always got to look behind
tree in water fantastic just need background more out of focus to be money shot
thomas who yeah right just seen his last video pure joke
I just got my mini 3 pro in today and man I am impressed with it. First drone for me. Technology can be amazing sometimes
I just got the Pocket 3 a couple of months ago... aaaaand I might be getting a drone very soon too. For me it is about being able to capture different types of photos and video clips. A camera can capture certain shots, a drone captures very different shots. A camera can record video, but the Pocket 3 allows you to record stabilized handheld video for b-roll or a-roll. So they all serve a different purpose, they are different tools. Also I know for a fact that Thomas Heaton uses the Pocket 3, as does Gavin Hardcastle and Adam Gibbs... so they are using the lightweight, convenient tools too. FINALLY, I like the second to last photo the best... something about having both foreground and background interest and the diagonal lines. Thanks for sharing!
Exciting! I agree they do all serve different purposes. At the moment, I’m slightly annoyed as I can’t shoot in d-log 10 bit on the pocket as my free version of DaVinci Resolve doesn’t support it, so that’s another upgrade I’ll be having to get. I’ll get there eventually haha
@@LiamGalashan Haha one step at a time.
Nice video.
Get the mini4pro and rc2 , Enough said ...
Yep! Definitely a great drone!
I love the drone. It’s amazing what it can do! Thanks for the support
