I'm closing in on 40. In my life, I've had good jobs, bad jobs, and I've been unemployed. I've been in great shape, I've been in average shape, and I've been in bad shape. I've been incredibly ambitious, I've been somewhat ambitious, and I've been completely defeated. In all my years, throughout all the jobs and relationships I've had, countries I've lived in, outlooks I've held, and experiences I've had, I've learned one thing, and one thing alone. It doesn't matter how smart you are, how hard you work, how high your goals are, or what your beliefs are. In the end, the ONLY thing that matters is what difficulty setting your life is set to. Also known as how lucky you are. You are far, far, FAR better off to be dumb, lazy, untalented and unmotivated, but wildly lucky and living life on "Easy" mode, than you are to be wickedly smart, ambitious, talented and motivated, but unlucky and living life on "Nightmare" mode. That's the unfortunate fact of the universe.

That's why i can't stand online gaming nowadays. People are much better at them than in the past, but i don't like the hyper focus where everything goes black when I'm in the game. I can't even feel my hands at times. This is a state of trance... But at least ppl are much better at the game... Edit: This is called the "flow" state, but since 2016 onwards the players have gotten so cracked that they're now in an even deeper version of the flow state... I was actually forced into this state at one point and it was weird... Like a super version of the flow state, that i was doing to get more shots in for an accuracy based projectile weapon. Like a hunter. umm... that was off. These players are so cracked.

This generation is a bit too fatalistic, everything has to set in predetermined path. You can’t have setbacks, rebounds or anything. There’s people who have been brought up in unfortunate circumstances. But most times, it’s a self esteem issue. I feel like common trait, they would say ‘the older gens lied to us’. Then, they would proceed to do nothing. Again, it’s all lacking the willingness to move forward or find solutions. As someone who’s been in that situation a lot of times in the past. I do confirm people need to take hardships to become stronger. If life never had struggle what would be the point of living. But resignation to giving up seems miserable and no one should really go through that suffering really.

imo, love is dead if u dont love urself first. Alot of people have such a blurred and wrong expectation of love because they havent loved themselves enough to experience real love for themselves. If u truly love urself for who u are without being influenced by the public perception of u, u start to surround urself with real people who genuinely love u for who u are. Alot of the times in society, especially at such a young age / immature period of life, people are distracting themselves by being someone who they arent but somehow still expect real love to find them? People are hateful and selfish because they havent learnt to truly love themselves yet, hence why those people wont find anything meaningful until they do. Love urself to find real love and not that fake superficial BS.
