Had my doubts about this game but Tech plays hard. They still aren’t near what they can be. Looking very good in this grind of a league.

WreckEm. MH--Yea if he isn't in school here then nothing can be official but if he has drama at home he may simply want to hang in Lubbock and train. Prop 48 kids used to do that in my era. I find myself wondering what his GPA is. If he was on academic suspension for instance this would all make a lot more sense. Teams cannot speak to that at all. Assuming we get some answers in Fall.

Joe Walsh is from Cincinnati and gave Cincinnati chili a really gross reputation . . . when it ended up all over the hotel room walls when concert touring.

Cincy's tradition is physicality. It always has been. This is the kind of trip one might see in the Big 10. Midweek trip, in cold weather to play a big, physical team. You gotta dig deep on these kinds of trips. Some kind of meat concoction on spaghetti is spaghetti with meat not sauce, not chili.

I think Kerwin and EY can both add to the success of the team when giving max effort. They need to play enough to get into the flow, but agreed they need to defend and rebound better. Their 5-10 minutes each could really help to keep our other players fresher and more efficient, not to mention healthier.

The team was not healthy last year against Cincinnati. This was the game that a lot of the guys were sick with the flu. Warren Washington played significantly less time and struggled because of it and Robert Jennings had to play more.

How does Christian Anderson compare with Jarrett Culver?

I haven’t seen this mentioned very much or at all, but how about Federiko’s free throw improvement? He’s been nailing them and I remember at the beginning of the season that it was mentioned it was one of his weaknesses.

I loved his interview especially at the end when he got emotional talking about Chance’s character. There seems to be a love and a bond between the team and the staff that bodes well for late March and April.

I love the basketball talk and Grants post game interview was excellent

It does help us to have a full roster where we can sub in to wear the other team down.

Great show, and win! JT, F2 and Anderson are for real! But 2 complaints. Hawkins shouldn’t shoot another 3 this season. Those first 2 conference games were fool’s gold. He’s back to his career shooting…which is bad. Form is awful and those shots aren’t close. Do what we brought you here to do…distribute. And D5 looks like a soccer player the past 2 games. Rolling on the ground like he’s dead, waiting on a stretcher only to come back in or jump around fine on the sidelines.

Team looking good. Hope Williams can get his shot back. He has been a little shaky.
