I think you’re right…Proverbs does have a few recurring themes that are revisited from different perspectives. A month ought to be long enough to break the book down into reasonable bits.

Paul’s had problems with street repairs on their particular block going back to last year. The street was closed a while for a repair and again to repair the repair and is still closed just north of their store so customer traffic has been lower. Plus tobacco isn’t very popular. It’s kind of a local landmark and been in business for almost 100 years so I’d be surprised if the town is actively trying to shut them down.

Several years ago I was working in the Williamsport area and tried a six pack. This is a small family owned regional brewery as you noted that is most popular in the north central portion of Pennsylvania. I thought it was an ok beer but since I can get Yuengling lager in my home area it just has a better full beer taste compared to Straub. If I lived in their area I would drink it since it is locally produced and still is better than some of the large breweries.

Happy 4th! It's hard to judge a beer like this. Its a really good beer, but not as described on the can. I tend to knock beers like this a little bit because they don't match the can description even though they are good beers.

Are you really a beer drinker? On the can it says brewed with Yakima Chief Hops plus you read the description and twice you read "Yakima" hops. Then you didn't know what kind of hope they used? Was that a joke??? Not funny. Don't pretend to be a knowledgeable beer drinker.

I’ve gone off the New Belgium beers. Juicifer was the last one I liked.

Nobody does Oat Cream IPA like OHB. Nelson is such a banger also, anytime you see Citra, Riwaka or Strata try those.

In your review of Green State, you mentioned you’ve had better, you’ve had worse. I’d love to discover a new “ better “ lager to try that I can find in Vermont. What is the best you’ve had ?

Glad you mentioned the powdery mouthfeel, which i believe, you were referring to the hopburn. I believe this beer was brewed around March 20th 2024, and i am drinking a can, right now, and still i am getting some hopburn, but, very slight now. It is almost 2 months old. I here Galaxy really brings on the hopburn, that dosent want to die, so i am guessing this is the culprit. Most everybody want to drink their IPA's days old, which i think is retarded. I know all beers age differently, but most IPA's are not even drinkable, until they reach the 3 1/2 week mark, and still even then, they are better at 4 weeks plus, and if the says "Dry Hopped" on the can you are looking at 5 weeks, sometimes. You can dismiss, all the check-ins on Untappd until 30 days is reached. What do you think about all this? But hey, i am not a beer expert, i am here to learn...Cheers!!!
