This song brings back memories of my ex. This was the song I listened to the night she held and kissed me for the first time. Judge me if you will, but I cried my eyes out. I've never been happier in my life. I only see her maybe twice a year because I have no absolutely no way to go to her. She can't come visit me because family issues. I haven't seen her in 7 months now and missing her brings me to tears sometime. She saved me from myself and I love her more than life. We talk every day but my only wish is to see her irl and hold her in my arms again. 😢

I think this song is about him falling in love with a girl who is terminally ill. She has "3 months." It's so beautiful though I love Local Natives. When I hear there songs it's like finally feeling the warmth of the sun when you were in the cold shadows.
