Josh has studied Vocal Performance for over 8 years. In the Virginia NATS Singing Competition, Josh placed first in musical theater in 2020 and received honors in the classical category. Josh has participated in masterclasses with Robert Ainsley, the Director of the Washington National Opera, Javier Arrey, and Kyle Pfortmiller, who have both played roles in the New York Metropolitan Opera and Washington National Opera. In February 2020, Joshua performed at the Kennedy REACH Center for the Arts singing a solo of Funiculi Funicula.In the Fall of 2021, Josh directed an original musical co-written with Tony Asfour. The musical, titled Believer: a cult musical, now streaming on all platforms. Josh was most recently seen performing at UVA's Old Cabell Hall for his Distinguished Major Recital in Voice which can be found on UA-cam. In the Fall of 2022, Josh will be attending the Berklee College of Music to study Writing and Designing Musical Theatre at their Berklee NYC master's program.
