Sa structural design software po ba ang ginagamit ay yung true value ng soil pressure q sa bawat corner ng footing, hindi average q? Wala po bang paraan para makuha ang true q using manual calculation?
Structural design software use finite element analysis.

As much as possible 4 inches or 100mm lang
@@janlhesternavasca3160 thanks for reply po! may mga napapanoud kasi ako ang use nila sa special confining zone is 50mm spacing, then sa staad tutorials naman na napapanoud ko ang minimum allowed ng program is 75mm hehe
Oo yun binibigay nila pero for construction issues as much as possible idesign natin sa 100mm lang mahirap kasi lalo na pag sa may joint hirap ilagay ang rebar ng beam
Hello, sir! I think you miscalculated sa #3 (timestamp 15:31). kasi yung answer sa z sa #2 is 2.684, but i think yung na input mo sa calcu pagdating sa #3 for z is 2.864, kaya naging 2.936 yung answer mo sa presentation for 5.8-z instead of 3.116 dapat. The video was so helpful, btw! :)

Yung green is for wind calculations. Haha challenge yung 200 mm na column pero kaya naman 😅

Hello, this is Euler Buckling of Column which is the basis of design codes like AISC LRFD/NSCP. Euler Stress Fcr is the Stress that will cause buckling. If FCr is greater than yielding therfore buckling will not occur since yielding is much smaller.
If based on Cc that is based on code provisions either NSCP LRFD or ASD / AISC

@@nerizacullado9721 same naman. Yung Code Provisions given by AISC /NSCP 2015 ay adopted from the buckling theory of Euler. In other words sina unang way ng pagdedesign ng column yung kay Euler :)

Yung 600mm distance ng splices sa 50% na Yun? Sample 8pc-16mm rebars, 4pc yung isplice dapat Di pantay yang 4pcs? Pano kung 4m height of col. Mid-half 2m, 50d= 800, bale 4*800 +3*600space=5m sobrasobra. Or Yung 2 lang pantay alternate, bale 2*800+600= 2.2m sobra parin sa mid-half na 2m. Pwede bang ignore nalang yang 600spacing.
Hindi po, you can splice the other half dun sa susunod na floor. If not, otherwise use Class B Tension Lap Splice with, 600mm distance pa din ng dalawang na splice. Ayaw kasi natin magkaroon ng weak section

@@chastie_6821 You can check ACI-418 sect 9.9 Deep beams or NSCP sec 409.9.9.1 deep beams na kapag ang Ln<4h therefore iba na ang way ng pag design dito you will design as a deap beam

First condition nya po is that, medyo di go ma gets meaning nya, if uniformly loaded yung beam does that fall under that condition?

Hello, as for the joint tie zones, ACI and Industry standard limits to 100mm spacing on JOINT tie zone (see example Seismic Design of Reinforced Concrete Special Moment Frames, section 5.3) and we should check its joint shear capacity.

So the spacing requirement that it should be the smallest of the following: 48db 16db least dimension of column ... are only for axially loaded column only?
That is for non seismic detailing. The spacing requirement are based from the required shear Vs carried by the ties.
That is maximum spacing for Non seismic detail column
