The best cover you could use for your plans is a plastic thin film. The roll at joann fabricks, in the upholstery section. It is strong, thin, and (very clean like glass), and inexpensive. C a glue and regular glue like apoxy does not stick to it.

Great series- If I may offer one correction! The sheeting on the wing center section has the grain in the balsa going leading edge to trailing edge. The sheeting should go span wise .
