    i just started with CS50 from havath do you think is good to start with CS50?

    • @webdevelopete
      @webdevelopete 12 годин тому

      @@mastersolutionscholarship hello there! CS50 is a good choice to start with as it introduces you to the field of computer science. You will get the basic idea of some programming languages such as C and python and you will be introduced to web development and many other CS terms (algorithms, data structures, memory management and many more). While CS50 is overall a good free ‘introduction course’ I believe you will need to decide which part of programming you are interested in the most and follow that path by finding a more specialized course that focuses on this specific field (for example web development, game development etc). That’s of course if you’re looking to get a job as a programmer. Now, my suggestion would be, if you have the time, since you’ve started with CS50 finish it so you will have a clearer view on which path you want to follow. Otherwise, if you already know which path you want to follow, drop CS50 and get a more specialized course that will focus solely on these technologies and languages. Long answer I know but I hope I was able to help. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or need any clarification! Good luck with your journey!

      @webdevelopete 16 днів тому

      @@dibyasukaushik018 Hey there! Starting with Java and DSA is a really good choice. Once you get the hang of the basics like syntax and OOP, dive deeper into core concepts like exception handling and the collections framework. Then, tackle data structures such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, and graphs. You should also learn key algorithms like sorting, searching, recursion, dynamic programming, and greedy algorithms. As you progress, explore advanced data structures like heaps, tries, and segment trees. Practice regularly on platforms like LeetCode, HackerRank and maybe Codewars. Finally, work on projects and contribute to open-source to see how everything fits together in real-world applications. Once you're confident in your skills, start preparing for job applications. Update your resume to highlight your projects and problem-solving abilities. Build a strong LinkedIn profile and network with professionals in the industry. Apply for internships and entry-level positions to gain experience. Practice coding interviews using platforms like InterviewBit and Cracking the Coding Interview. Remember the number 1 tip: consistency is key! Practice and problem-solving are crucial! Good luck, and enjoy the journey! Hello there Srikanth! You are most welcome :) I apologize for the late reply. AI is definitely making waves in the tech world, but it’s more of a tool to enhance our work rather than replace us. AI can automate repetitive tasks, which actually allows developers to focus on more complex and creative aspects of their projects. So, rather than replacing developer jobs, AI is shifting the focus to more innovative and problem-solving roles! As for the future scope of web development, it's looking very bright! Web development continues to evolve with new technologies and frameworks, ensuring that there’s always something new to learn and exciting projects to work on. The demand for skilled web developers remains high across various industries. Regarding the resume, you will receive a link to it once you register on the newsletter using the link below :) If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask!

    It's cool but don't over-specialize. A generalist will always get more opportunities compared to a over-specialized guy in tech. For example, call yourself expert in web technologies but don't call yourself expert in reactjs. You're just limiting your scope and career.

    • @webdevelopete
      @webdevelopete 23 дні тому

      You make a great point about the value of being a generalist and having a broad range of skills, especially in the rapidly changing tech industry. It’s true that specializing too narrowly can sometimes limit your opportunities. However, having in-depth knowledge of a specific technology can be very beneficial, especially when starting out. Being well-versed in one area, like ReactJS, can make you stand out to potential employers who are looking for expertise in that particular field. It can also provide a strong foundation that makes it easier to pick up additional skills and technologies later on. So, while it's important to keep a broad perspective and be adaptable, having a strong specialization can definitely give you an edge early in your career. It's all about finding the right balance!

    Python is geeat for starting imperative languages and good enough for data structures and algorithms practice. However, I disagree with Js and Go being essential. Apart from the disgusting syntax, they are very specialised tools. I doubt everyone wants to be a web frontend dev. @ I work in the digital arm of a massive oil company. Previously I was working as a junior developer in the software engineering department and currently working as a QA in the test centre (yeah joined the dark side) department in the same company. Outsystems is a platform that utilises low code implementation which has drag and drop features, it uses it’s own language that is very similar to C# and from what I can tell allows you to customise html as well. I have to disclaim that I do not have much personal experience with it, but from what I can tell our department utilises it for a lot, especially for internal applications. My experience as a QA with Outsystems in my current project, I can say that the modular approach prevents bugs from one module to affect other modules (making my testing easier and smoother)

      Hey, thanks for your thoughts! I totally get your point. Starting with a lower-level language like C does give you a great understanding of what's going on behind the scenes. But I think languages like JavaScript, Python, and Go are great for beginners because they make the learning curve less daunting. Plus, they're super practical and widely used in many fields. Everyone's got their own path in learning, and what works best can differ for each person. Appreciate you sharing your take on it!

    DEAR RESPECTED SIR, I like your videos, can you document advises and Guide for those Like me, who have two aims: 1. long term aim: having two skills in tech world one is full stack web development and 2nd is Machine learning. 2. short term aims: to learn one key at first within 3 to 5 months to earn some basic money because I really needs money, so I choose backend to learn 1st. Main question is what I should learn first, my mind is so confusing continuously hoping from one to other things so I can't focus on one thing, in this situation I waste a lot of my time. after doing research on my problem, makes a detailed guide and advise them to document it

    • @webdevelopete
      @webdevelopete Місяць тому

      hello there! first of all thank you for your kind words, it really means a lot to me! :) so, for long-term: pursue skills in Full Stack Web Development and Machine Learning. for short-term: I believe it's best if you focus on learning backend development first, this will help you gain the skills needed to start earning money quickly. the steps you should follow are the following: 1. Choose a backend language: start with a language like Python or Node.js. Python is particularly versatile and widely used in both backend development and machine learning (if I'd start over, I might have gone with python) 2. Learn the basics: spend the first month on fundamentals like syntax, data structures, and basic algorithms (I have a couple of links on the description of my videos - you can try these courses, they're really good) 3. Build simple projects: in the next two months, create small projects to reinforce your skills. Examples include a to-do list app or a simple blog 4. Understand databases: learn about SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on how they integrate with your backend language 5. Practice-practice-practice: Use platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to practice coding problems and improve your problem-solving skills 6. Networking and job search: by the end of three to five months, start applying for freelance or entry-level backend development jobs Most importantly, stay focused! Set clear goals, break down your learning into weekly or daily targets. Minimize distractions, allocate specific times for study and practice, and stick to them. Try to stay motivated - remind yourself of your long-term goals and how each step brings you closer to them! I hope these will clear up things for you and help you identify your next steps! Good luck man! :)

      First of all, you should definitely keep practicing and learning new skills on your free time whether you go to college or not - If I were you (assuming that the fees won't get me bankrupt), I would definitely go to university WHILE practicing on my free time. In college you will learn how to work in a team, network and make friends in the field. A college degree is always a plus when applying to jobs, especially as a junior and it will open more doors for you. It's not mandatory, but it would be a huge boost for you to start on your first job! I hope that helps and good luck to whatever you will decide to do!
