Hiking Lewis Falls in Shenandoah National Park
We stopped near the halfway point of our drive along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park for a hike at Lewis Falls. The three-mile roundtrip hike provided some challenges. See our take and recommendations on this stop and hike.

We sailed through the Panama Canal on Holland America's Nieuw Amsterdam in April 13, 2024. Our transit sailing took approximately 12 hours, with a delay at the Pedro Miguel Locks for a medical evacuation from our ship. I've worked on parts over years. Ancestry.com makes it easier if others have done prior research. The actual video took a few days to piece together and produce.
lost me at "art snobs" comment. The reason they don't want people to photograph their art is because some people will take those photographs and print them instead of buying them from the artists. That's theft. Nothing snobby about that. Just good business.
