Wow! They sound just like a guitar!

We used to go to the movies a lot in Australia in the 1950s. At the start, they played "The Queen" and showed a clip of her wearing a ridiculous tall hat, and seated on a poor horse. We had to stand for that. Immediately after that, they ran a Newsreel that began with a sudden loud burst of a flock of kookaburras cackling loudly. A very appropriate comment, lol.

While I adore the kookaburras that come to my balcony most days and hangout while I read and chat with them, I even feed them meat off chopsticks (They have strong beaks being predators so the chopsticks are a good idea), sometimes, when they laugh just outside my bedroom window at dawn I do call them a flock of screaming bastards.

I really hope, somehow this species finds its way to Africa. I think the Nile crocs would be very welcoming of their cousins, here - especially in the eternal conflict with hippos. I find it diificult to believe that the only feared Nile croc, wrt hippos was Gustave! In essence, some animal needs to teach these hippos a lesson...damnit!

Saltwater crocodiles get much larger than 5 meters. The longest ever measured was 28 feet 4 inches, almost 9 meters.
