Fascinating discussion.
Great interview!
Professor Banffy-Hall leading an incredibly insightful conversation once again!
Thank you for these interesting insights into the special issue on Germany!
What a great interview. So much rich information and nuanced perspectives!
Great interview! I love the story about the police choir asking to sing with the Indigenous group
🙌 Awesomeness!
A really good interview! Thank you so much Brydie-Leigh Bartleet for sharing your insights! 😀
I respect dr Banffy-Hall so much!
So informative!😍
Great interview Alicia and Roger! Thank you Lee Higgins for sharing your perspective, very interesting.
Great job Alicia and Roger!
Very interesting!
So relieved to find ...this resonates loudly...thank you
'promosm'
This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing! 🙌
This is not exactly community music therapy. Can only be considered as an example. Actually Everything can be considered as music therapy example. The important thing is that an officially certified music therapist ( from governmental intitute not from private institute or phisicology foundations) can indicate the therapeutic achievements. When something about improvisation and music in the western world, immediately comes to mind, Medival melodiys ext.. But. Music therapy is a scientific field that should be done under the supervision of an evidence-based doctor and professional... plus therapeutic process are not the commershal product... There are thousands of session videos on UA-cam. but this therapy is against the privacy policy of therapeutic prosess.
Hola Juan! Just watched your video here and now I'm a fan - meaning I understand you are highly experienced and competent! I love the way you describe the process, and how your metaphors come together to create a caring and wise context. Great that you will present a Salon - see you online! Peace & music...
It's a honour to be part of this amazing community!
Bingo, Bango -- the children are the curriculum. Brilliant quote!!! Any student curriculum is based upon what they want and need. AMEN!!!
What a stimulating video! The topic is so relevant!
I remember you from Ulverston, more than thirty years ago! Just read an article about you and your dad.... wonderful. Lovely to catch up with what you are doing now.
Wow - that was a good time... Yup - still doing the same stuff ! a bit less than before but ... can't stop making music !
Thank you for that brief summary and definition, it was very helpful.
Loved the song! Definetly want to try that with some young activists. Thank you for sharing :)
Cool video, keep it up! You should use PromoSM it’s the best way to grow your channel quickly!
Inspiring! <3
Thank you so much for this great informative video! I will definitely refer to it to the people i know.
We welcome you all to the workshop of Waseem at the Community Music Netzwerk on the 9.6.21: communitymusicnetzwerk.de/workshops/hip-hop-musik-und-anti-rassismus/
Workshop leider NICHT GUT ☝️
Great song and great way to involve everybody with their ideas and wishes! Thanks for sharing!!!
Beautiful!!
I'm a Community Music undergraduate student at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. I'm doing a course right now focused on researching just how notions of inclusivity and exclusivity function in making community music spaces ones of belonging. This was a great video! I really appreciated your thoughts on how belonging looks different to different groups of people. And I think the references at the end of the video will prove useful to me in further reading. Thanks a lot!
Hi Maria, thanks so much for your lovely comment! This was a very interesting topic to research, I hope that some of the resources are helpful to you in your own work! Best of luck, and thanks for your support! Theo
Very well done Jo Gibson
It is impressive to see what Participatory Action Research can initiate and bring forth! What an encouragement to engage with this methodological approach!! Thank you, Alicia!
Thank you Marion!
Jo, this is a fantastic presentation. . I love all those voices. So familiar! Great work.
Thanks for the great presentation, Marion! As someone who has just embarked on an MA, it's comforting to hear other people discussing their uncertainty around projects. We're obviously in VERY different circumstances, but thank you!
Thank you Theodora! I think it's helpful to realize that research is not a straight road... wishing you joy and success with your MA!
Very thought provoking presentation.
Thanks, Jane! Is there a particular part that you find interesting/challenging? Would love to hear more...!
Love your perspective on PAR!
Thank you Rory!
@@aliciadebanffy-hall4868 ,
wow, so important!
Thanks, Rory! Looking forward to more discussions!
Awesome "host, hospitality and hostile", very important in my work! Need to unpack those terms!
Engaging and inspiring, as always Kathleen.
