Should you buy an old flagship smartphone?
All smartphones depreciate in value over time, so what offers a better value? A depreciated but appraised flagship from two years ago or the best value budget smartphone of this year? In this video, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ (2018) and the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC (2020) go head-to-head to see which one's a better value.
After using both for over two months, this is my opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Each phone has its strengths and weaknesses and neither is a definitive better option. Which phone would you choose?

How I Opened a Business Bank Account (Starting a Business ep3)
Переглядів 163 роки тому
Join me as I discuss how I opened my first business checking account for my startup. I go through all the steps from getting and EIN (Employer Identification Number), deciding which bank would be best for my needs, and what I think about the account that I decided on. Something that I didn't mention in this video was minimum initial deposits. My account required only $100 but some others have m...
Disappearing Money: A Mathematical Illusion
Переглядів 433 роки тому
Today I have for you an interesting mathematical illusion that makes it appear that money disappears. I cannot take credit for making this trick up nor do I know who originally made it. This is not a magic trick, but an interesting trick using deception and psychology to confuse the viewer into making false assumptions. $50 million in an imaginary village turn into $40 million after disappearin...
Starting a Business Ep 2 - Design Decisions
Переглядів 313 роки тому
In this episode we explore the decisions I made while making the first product for my startup: a wooden pc case. Join me in this journey on how I start a business while attending university full-time. Thanks to the people at the bit-tech forums for the inspiration on the expansion card setup. Dual Endstops Squaring and Calibration on the MPCNC using Marlin
Переглядів 11 тис.3 роки тому
In this video we go over how to square and calibrate your CNC machine after installing dual endstops. This tutorial is for the original MPCNC running Marlin 2 but can be adapted for many other CNC builds and softwares including the MPCNC Primo and GRBL. If you want to automatically draw the lines, use the following gcode with the pen starting in position to draw. Adjust the X and Y values with ...
Simplest MPCNC Gantry/Z-axis Cable Management
Переглядів 1,7 тис.4 роки тому
Wondering what to do with your cables coming off of the z-axis of your MPCNC? In this video we explore a quick and easy fix! It doesn't take much space to implement and is super easy to use as well! All you need is some PVC pipe, a few zip ties, a little bit of string, and some velcro. This was made for the original MPCNC by Ryan (and burly versions). It hasn't been tested on the Primo version....
LM393 Comparator for Noobs (with test circuit)
Переглядів 9 тис.4 роки тому
LM393 Comparator for Noobs (with test circuit) This comparator works great with arduino. I'm using it for an infrared transmitter/receiver circuit for a tachometer that will eventually be used on my MPCNC. Good places to buy are Mouser and AliExpress. I would like to know about the belt tensioner that are in the video at 1:33? Did you make them or is it on Thingiverse?

    • @lifeofleoua6695
      @lifeofleoua6695 2 роки тому

I made them based off of a design on Thingiverse. They didn't work very well since I didn't account for some clearances so I ended up just using zip ties like the Ryan's design intended.

That's very vague. If you post more about your issues, I might be able to help, but I recommend going to the V1 Engineering forum and asking there. They collectively have more experience than I do.

El firmware se llama Marlin y lo necesitas configurar para tu propio pantalla.

Здравствуйте. На входы компаратора можно подавать напрямую плюс или минус питания, без резистора?

I don't speak Russian but I'll try to answer your question using what I got from Google Translate. No, the resistors are not needed for the inputs of the LM393. The only resistor that's needed is the pull-up resistor R7 at the output. Let me explain why I used the resistors on the inputs. The LM393 compares the voltages at each input. Making the voltage dividers with the resistors on the (-) makes it so that you can choose what voltage turns the LED on or off. In real life, the potentiometer on the (+) side is usually a sensor that jumps between 2 voltages. By using the resistors on the (-) side, you can set a voltage in between those two voltages. That makes one of the sensor's states power the LED and the other state not power the LED.

I really like how you have explained this. I am sure you have seen the way I explain it. I would be interested to link this in the docs if you would be cool with it?
