She was only 7 or 8, a few years younger than Winston.. Nobody "let" anything happen. She needed regular care, not to be around a stressful, dirty environment. Not to get jabbed with a knife for not knowing where to correctly laydown. Despite my resentment of all that has happened I do give my condolences as this is terrible. I wish I knew how this happened specifically. I wish that you would have surrendered her or had the vets phone me so I could pay for her hospital care. I would have done anything to prevent it. This is the 3rd dog an 4th animal in total. I begged for her to be in my care, as the eldest dog (Winston) is still alive and well.
