As Carpuride have just released a purpose built bracket for the BMW motorcycle, here is a quick installation to show the simple process of installing and powering up using the bracket.
Hello Neil, thank you for the video. I have the same C6pro that arrived 2 days ago and was wondering what is the best way to fit it to the GSA , so you clarified this perfectly. Can you share via a link the .stl file for 3D printing out the mounting bracket for the GS nav bar? Many thanks again !
@@enduromecanic Do you have a contact for a 3D printer? If not my contact only charges £9 inc delivery . I can get it sorted if you like.
@@enduromecanic Here you go…. www.printables.com/model/1051120-motorcycle-mount-12mm-bar-for-aoocci-c6pro-625-car/files
Thank you!
The camera is moving, moving, moving...
Really tempted to get one for my RS but I relocated my GPS mount under the windscreen and its quite snug already. Not sure how w702b will fit. Like the large 702 screen for my old eyes
Hello man. I have a question, when mounted on the BMW specific bracket, can the screen be equalized at different angles on the ball mount?
Yes. It can be angled to suit you.
What did you do move the unit up so you could see your TFT?
No. I actually turned my Nav bracket upside down and it gives another 15mm of clearance. Now perfect.
@@therileysat2Do you mean the Nav bracket that attaches to the back of the unit? So you have it arrows down?
Do you feel it’s too big and distracting? Would the 502 be a better fit?
No not at all. Any smaller and you would be straining to see the details. Seems just right for me.
Hi there! Great video, thanks for sharing. Makes it much easier to understand how everything comes together. Would it be possible to show how you managed to adjust the navi bar's height so the unit doesn't obscure the bike's main display?
I would be interested in this as well. My Carpuride is in front of bike display.
I will try and do another video to show this better. I removed the BMW nav mount and remounted it to the bike upside down. This gives about 15 to 20mm more clearance and is then perfect. A little rerouting of the supply cable but a simple job. All locks etc still accessible.
@@therileysat2please do the video to help all of us 😅
@@therileysat2 when you remounted the bmw bracket upside down, the carpuride bracket you screw in upside down position too? Can you explain please.
Can you confirm it is powered from the bmw cradle....so no need to run a power cable to the battery? 👍
Yes, powered by BMW nav cradle.
@@therileysat2 ta 👍
