The videos would be 100% better if they were not done in wide screen or full screen. the Virginian looks fat and dumpy when in fact he was over 6 feet tall.

I understand in the book ,The Virginian kills Trampas. Glad that didn't happen on the series.

I love the show "The Virginian" and westerns in general. I love James Drury as an actor because he was a good one. He was so good that he convinced everyone that a New York born, Shakespearian trained, actor who played a cowboy for 9 years was actually a western cowboy.

Stewart Granger came to the show he started throwing his weight around and tried to fire a camera man and others according to Jim forgetting that Jim was still The Virginian

To this day, I thank my Heavenly Father for the entire cast, who became a family for me during a traumatic time in my life. I hope and pray to meet each of them one day, God willing, in heaven.

The war scenes are from his autobiography a movie called To Hell and Back, it will break your, heart. He was too young so his sister Nadine added 3 years to his birth certificate, he was 16 . His age is not correct on his tomb stone according to his sister. He died in a plane crash next to my grandparents farm, in Cataba, Va. May 28 1971
