I am proud Scotsman, but the welsh national anthem is a gift to the world, simply the best
Wonderfully blessed with amazing singing voices in wales for some reason.
For a country so small in size and population, our unity stands out in all of Britain and our beloved game of Rugby. Proud to be a Welshman
That is definitely worth the price of the ticket.
The ACTUAL BRITISH people!
100% Celtic
I remember hearing this on ho.idwy in Llandudno in 1994, both my Mum and me cried, it's such a beautiful tune, every time I hear it I think of My wonderful Mum
This song, it absolutely destroys me, it's such a stunning piece of music in it's own right. By far my favourite national anthem. I'm English and I fookin' love it! I well up every single time I hear it. Encore!
If you don't enjoy the Welsh anthem at the Arms Park I don't know what to tell you. Max Boyce would be proud.
Omg im such A huge fan iM welsh and this is my nationality it always makes me cry bc its so specail Yma o hyd to you all
Yma o hyd. Love from Catalunya.
The Welsh Dragon roars!
Most emotional anthem I have heard 🥲🥲🫡🫡🏴🏴
i am a proud Davies. for many years i saw myself as English but the last 2 decades have proudly reclaimed my Welsh heritage. just listening and watching this is the most heartfelt emotiolnal experience. so proud of who i am. this is going to be the conclusion of my funeral service.
That's how to be proud of ya country. Sing loud from the heart. Thank U for this anthem ❤
Man this is up there with the Swedish anthem 😁 Awesome!
Im so proud to be welsh. And our national anthem is the best
Greatest anthem on earth
I'm a confusing blend of English, Indian, Portuguese and Scottish and yet there is no question that the Welsh anthem stirs my soul. Cymru Am Byth.💖
You couldn't be more right 🏴❤
listen to Bro Gozh Ma Zadou, its very similar
I stayed in Cardiff for a month. My partner was in a cafe and a woman started singing, then another harmonised with her, more joined in, beautiful. I took the kids to see the statue of Gareth Edwards, mostly for me, in a little Mall, the Mall music was a distiquished black gent mellifluously generating an amazing bass baritone, South Wales is king for song!
Indeed it is❤
As a native of England. I wish we had such a rousing national anthem. Ours, unfortunately is pure durdge 😢
lol stay losing
I wholeheartedly agree💕
I always cry😢
I can truly understand why and I'm not even Welsh.❤
I'm irish and I bloody love listening to this
Awesome!
You wouldn't hear a national anthem song better anywhere in the world, spine tingling 👏👏👏
You are absolutely right.❤
I am Polish and this gave me goosebumps 🤔
Good luck with the euros mate
@@dancredge7080 I don't expect great success for our team. Poland doesn't have a good team
Because there's nothing better than European nationalism whether it's Celts, Germanics or Slavic peoples it's always beautiful
The Eisteddfod is coming to the home of the anthem this year. Every day Ponty park are putting up new things to welcome our fellow countrymen and women.
Spent a month in an Airbnb in Cardiff. My partner was in a cafe, work gig and spontaneously everyone started singing. I took the little ones into a mall, statue of Gareth Edwards, took pictures then moved towards this strange mall music? Older black guy on a bench, beautiful bass/ baritone, he’s producing it while a woman is checking her bags next to him. I used to live in Liverpool, so know North Wales, hillwalking. South Wales, I didn’t know Australia were playing Wales, we’d trained up the valley, it was a beautiful walk, don’t mind missing the game. But we went past a pub, whose sign kind of said, great Beer, great conversation, great song! Nowhere else I can think of would have that sign. I’m a Scotsman and am amazed at the differences between the Celtic cousins. Together, we’ve got it all! Not in a invade everyone style
I have family from Wales proud to be part Welsh.
I guess you had to be there....?
?????
I had an english boss at the time, told him the roof was closing for the match and he shirked it off, the millennium/principality stadium with the roof closed sounds like an 80 thousand seating cathedral, had the rugby golden generation to go with it, end result, no team has actively wanted to play with the roof closed since.
WFT? This was an exceptional piece or patrisam.
Is Queen of England. Millicent or Millie of Bermuda 🇧🇲 is my Best Friend and Queen of Wales 🏴 and England. Happy 😆 Birth Day Millie I would love 💕 to see your tits now. In Heaven of Course.

I am King of Wales. Lt. Dan is my Lt. Major General of My Forces. Millie is His Queen.
Always an experience to hear this hymn and this language! Even if I unfortunately don't understand anything. Your Welsh is special, keep it up! Cymru am byth ! 🏴 Greetings from Germany Btw: Does your red dragon have anything to do with Uther Pendragon?
Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi, Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri; Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd, Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed. Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad, Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau, O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.
Annwyl i mi hefyd💕
Now i feel welsh, but i‘m from germany! 😂Goosebumps
Interesting. Because the British (Cymry) who opposed Rome, those who took up the banner of Carad Ac Mab Cwn o Mab Elyn (Caratacus of Cunobeline) and many Ordovicci, Cornovii, Trinovantii took refuge in Germany with the German tribes in resistance to Rome until they returned under the banner of Cerdic. Maybe you ARE one of us?
Why can’t we sing it like this anymore? Out sung by the French in cardiff on Sunday! Absolute shambles Welsh rugby
We Were and what a shame in comparison to 2013
The days have gone for singing like that....most of the crowd just see it has one big pub.
Pretty much outsung by the Italians too this weekend just gone, but then again there wasn't much to sing about!
@@anthonycraig1458 right. When Wales will get back to the top, the singing will come along
I know everytime i go to see my country wales. I will belt my heart out singing the anthem, i hope my fellow countrymen will always join me!
Iam Irish and this gave me goosebumps.
Well done wales....love from scotland.

This is my game (30-3) Mae hen wlad fy Nhadau, The best anthem This Welsh team, the best team of 2013 This is why I'm Proud to be Welsh if any one asks you what's it like to be Welsh ask them to watch this game and they will know Why Cymru am byth
That anthem was worth 30 points to Wales, the greatest ever rendition
Dam I so proud to be Welsh
*Hwyr* Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus i pawb mewn a mas o Cymru
I played Rugby for Keighly Boys Grammar School in Yorkshire, England. It's a pretty demanding game and a wee bit different from American Football. The only body protection that the players have is a tooth guard. In this match in 2013 England were soundly beaten. The Welsh anthem provided the 'Just Right' performance fuel to overcome an historically earlier oppressor.
Oh Please. The English sang God save our gracious Queen, then the Welsh ripped into their anthem. Give credit where do- the Welsh responded to a challenge, then flogged the Poms on the field. No-one sings like the Welsh.
@@peternicholson233 Sadly, you seem to have misinterpreted my comment regarding the the Welsh anthem. I was in fact giving credit where credit is 'DUE'. In simple terms I stated that the soul stirring Welsh anthem and the emphatically powerful voices of the welsh players and fans helped, to a great extent, to provide the determination and valour required to trounce the English on that day.😊
Greatest national anthem in the world. Even if I wasn't Welsh I'd think that.
I'm English and as hard as it is to admit, I think that too
I'm French and I think just the same as you

Did the crowd harmonise the last verse?
Yes 🙂
Of course!!!!
Barry John, JPR, Phill Bennett, Merv and Gareth and this comes as naturally as water from the heavens...
I'm not Welsh and I don't have a bucket list, but if I did one thing that I would have on it is to be able to sing the Welsh National anthem at Rugby match in Cardiff with the Welsh fans.
Where was it??? (I am Welsh)
principality stadium
@@thomashisted5984 thx
When it’s that loud it’s Cardiff 🙏
Land of my Fathers at the Millenium never fails to bring goose bumps but this has to be about the best! I was lucky to go to Wales England in 2011. Arguably the best stadium and atmosphere on the planet. Loved the pride that the Welsh put into Land of my Fathers (a tad jealous as well!). Loads of lads telling me where I could shove my chariot! 😅 Trying to remember the result! 😅
