SO frustrating to see ignorant people bray loudly and incorrectly. I challenge Dubreuil to go on Google Earth and see with his own two eyes that the entire Casella tract is ABOVE 1106 feet ASL, which is the elevation of Forest Lake. You just aren't allowed to have "my own opinion" about something like this. It would take him 5 minutes to see this, followed by a happy STFU. AT ONE TIME, the footprint of the landfill had a TINY CORNER that was at 1083 ft ASL, which allowed the "clever" people with "integrity" at Casella to send around a flyer with an arrow to that corner and the words "landfill elevation 1083 feet." Yeah-- except the other 98% of the tract was above 1106. Clever. Effing clever. But the new footprint is entirely above 1106 feet. And BESIDES, the stupid "water flows downhill" line only makes any sense if you think about the DRINKING WATER for the homeowners on/near the lake, which comes from wells ****350 FEET BELOW GROUND LEVEL****, at about 750 feet above sea level! So yes, the entire tract is HUNDREDS of feet ABOVE the aquifer. Above, as in "downhill to reach it." Can we PLEASE stop lying about the most basic facts here?? Look north: east is to your right, not your left. If you want to say it's left, please STFU. That's all I ask.

Oh boy, these people have no idea what they're doing. There shouldn't be any private conversations with Casella, they need to hire an attorney to negotiate on thier behalf when the time is right.

So, who is this guy. It's disingenuous to only worry about truck traffic in Dalton. Where are our State Reps. to protect the region? Why isn't Whitefield/Littleton Selectboards not communicating with Dalton. This is a Regional issue.

I want to see the town of Whitefield included in these meetings and allowed to ask questions. The impact to our town is greater then the town of Dalton.

I'd like to know why Whitefield has no say in this issue ? The impact to us is severe. The truck traffic will be 200 plus trucks per day. And to compare to other trucks coming into town is ridiculous they are minimal in comparison

I found Scott's 2020 "analysis": it consists entirely of comparing the same two 15-week periods in successive years, one (2019) when Dalton sent trash to NCES, versus 2020, when Dalton had switched to Carberry. Amazingly, he doesn't consider the AMOUNT of trash, just the total cost. But we KNOW that the unit cost went (way) down because AVRRDD (Carberry) charges much less per ton than Casella does or did. Here's an analogy to show just how stupid this is: "I spent way more on gasoline this summer than last!" "But this winter, you traded in your Mini Cooper for an F-150." "Oh yeah." I don't have the figures for the total amount of trash in each year-- NEITHER DOES KLEINSCHRODT-- but it HAS to be more in 2020, because the one thing we KNOW is that Carberry charges less per ton. And what changed between summer 2019 and summer 2020? Does anyone remember a little pandemic? When people stopped eating at restaurants and instead generated food waste at home? Nothing new Leach aid goes all over the place in case you don't know. It's kind of a racket. And I'll tell you once again I put the liner in the first landfill. My job was inspecting the seams they all failed. The company national seal which was responsible for the shuttle explosion. Is notorious for shoddy work.

Why bottle it when you can just burn it. Fyi I built the original liner . It was junk from the start All seam seals failed air channel test . Pass or fail is the least of your worries. The big problem I saw was equipment driving on the liners without enough sand down first . Fyi there wasn't a sober person on that site.
