Is this board the origin of the blurr v3 with a pin tail ?
yes, this board is a v3 custom one I made for myself
Would be interesting to know your thoughts on the difference in feel vs the v2.
Why couldn’t they CNC the 19’ section and then CNC the other 3’ as a separate piece and then glue the 2 pieces together and then finish shape? Was the limitation with the design program (Shape 3DX (or whatever)? Looking forward to seeing more on this project. Thanks for sharing! By the way, did you see Kai Lenny’s video a few months ago where he said that out of all the different water stuff he does that his favorite is sup surfing?
If it’s weird ! We make it!!!!
@TerriPlunkett you know the deal!
My favorite vlogger 😍
@@ChadJarae aww shucks
Love my New Deal. Pure fun. I will only buy Infinity sups bc of that board. Can’t wait to get the Blurr! Thanks for making great sups! Yew!

Subscribed! I always had Infinity subscribed but somehow missed your personal page. What board is this?
@@DiscosVideos custom v3 thruster
I have a few comments… Thank you for putting a futures center fin box! Please do this for all your shortboard style boards. It makes it so much easier to play with different fin cluster options. What pod casts do you listen too? And booo Lakers 😘
Do you have the other sizes spec’ed you yet? I always loved the look of the bottom contours of the V2 but had a mental block on the step rail. We should meet up sometime and surf together. I could fly my drone while you surf too depending on where we go.
@@DiscosVideos yes the design is finalized am super pleased with the shape!
@@DiscosVideos yup already switched to this since the last container👍🏻
Hi Dave, good vlog that should build easily! My long reply is about how I set up my SoloShot3 I don't have a Vlog, but a pretty solid SUP Surf UA-cam Channel, so I depended on SoloShot3, for a lot of my footage. Currently on my 3rd SoloShot3 Opti65 The camera was a total nightmare of failures for the first year or so. BUT… I now have it wired!!! The calibration process became pretty close to 100% once I ditched everything I had been told or read about proper setup. I began to experiment after getting ZERO footage on a one month SUP Trip to Thailand, and very little footage during a 3 month SUP trip to Portugal. Some rules SoloShot will NOT work within a mile or so of an airport radar installation Not good with large metal objects near the base camera As you know, the camera will not focus clearly in fog, or even a clear day with high humidity if I am 500 yards away from the cam because the air is simply too "thick" OK... my set up routine: Set your board, leash, tag strap and paddle on the beach at the same elevation that you intend to set the tripod up at. Leave the board there Walk between 40 to 50 yards down the beach to the location you have picked out to set up the SoloShot Set Soloshot on the tripod with Tag docked Turn both on With 5 minutes Start the calibration process During countdown 3-2-1 As the countdown gets to 1, I undock the Tag and walk quickly away from the base, toward my board. When I get to the board, I begin to walk a path that looks like this: The camera is the center of a clock face ● Your board is at the 3 o'clock position ● ● Walk back an forth on a 10 yard path that follows the arc of the clock face from 3 to 2, then back past 3, to the 4 o'clock position ● ) Repeat the path until the camera locks on you and the light is BRIGHT green flash If it is light green, walk the path until it turns bright green and you are good to go. If it won't go bright green, then I shut the camera OFF and start over (but this is VERY rare) At my beaches, the cam is setup above the high tide line and at low tide the water can be 10' lower, so the cam may shoot a bit high for the first 5 or 10 minutes, but then it settles on me. The reason I set at the edge of the high tide line is so the camera will shoot over the heads of people walking past it. Hopefully this helps get your camera success up to 100% ha ha... as I was writing this my buddy sent me a link to his YT channel, so I told him I was responding to your Vlog because he has at least one infinity. He said "cool, please tell him Ronny from Florida says hi!" 😊 That's what I love about the SUP world... we are all so connected and stoked!

Really enjoying your vlog. Thank you. I used to live and surf on Kauai and later windsurfed and surfed on Maui. I always had a negative attitude about Oahu but after spending a couple weeks there this last December I came to really love the place. It’s like four different islands in one. And unlike the tension and racism in the outer islands, the vibes everywhere on Oahu were pure aloha. I’m kinda surprised there wasn’t more wrap on the west side on the day after Christmas because the north shore was pounding then.
Rack'em
I was just over there in early December and stayed on the West Side. Loved the chill vibe over there. I SUPed up at Pua'ena Point in Haleiwa for a couple of sessions--one of the most beautiful spots I've ever surfed at.

Thank you for handle! Here in NJ we are using 7mm gloves. Will you be making 4/3 wetsuits ?
@@richardhuegi6723 yes we made some this round and will most likely do pre order for next winter… next up is a pre order for summer 🤙🏽
Thank you for updating the handle. It’s an issue when wearing gloves and it’s windy (my usual conditions). Also, I would be happy to sacrifice my time to help test the bigger boards as a bigger rider 😂. I am around 235 pounds and I can handle an 8.2 x 29 x118 board. I use the 7.10 x 30 x 125 escape pod as my stable fun board
