The MEV system with heat recovery enhances again the energy performance of the Aereco's Mechanical Exhaust Ventilation: by adapting the airflows according to the needs in the dwelling, the Aereco demand controlled system already reduces consequently the heat demand. Through recovering the heat air energy at the level of the exhaust fan, this system drastically reduces the energy load for the ai...

I have contacted the distributors of this product rang as far back as 2012 and have had no success in doing business, I can only comment that their technical support can only be described as their sales prevention department. I am, and have been open to use Aereco products, and as I have already been using Heat Merchants for much of my HVAC supplies, I am dismayed as to how Aereco is even still in business, If I was running this company I would fire all the sales staff, as to how they are even still in business, I'm effin amazed.
why didnt you deeply explain the movement of air in each system !!!
Same prob. Is there a way to unlock or turn it off? It was a default installation from the apartment and cold air and noise is coming in. How do i survive with this in the winter? i can even hear the cold wind coming in.
Turn off - just tape it. I did that for last winter.

yep. Thats what usually happens during summer.
Amazing explanation
Only a dummy thinks ventilation that matters only move to and fro bulding built by hand alone.
Im facing a similar issue.. a lot of cold air is coming because of this. Is there a way to turn it off from the door panel
Hello, can you give more information about your issue? Which ventilation system do you have? You can write us or find answers directly on our website: www.aereco.com/
Question. If I already have an airbrick vent in a room, It would be rather silly of me to then fit a window with another air vent. Yes ?
Hello Stephen! Thank you for your comment. An airbrick in a room is indeed an air inlet. There is no need to add an air inlet on a window or a wall. However, it is just a hole, whereas our air inlets are usually equipped with airflow limiters to avoid draughts. With a whole-house Mechanical Exhaust Ventilation (MEV), air inlets are only needed in dry rooms, that is living room, dining room and bedrooms. Do not hesitate to contact our local subsidiaries (in Ireland or the UK) for more detailed information: www.aereco.co.uk/contact-us/
We get plenty fresh air outside. Easy.
Well explained and great illustration - Thank you

Need humidifier added the mechanical ventilation or else you’ll get very dry air in the winter.
With an efficient ventilation system, this is not necessary. You can discover our solutions or contact us on our website: www.aereco.com/ventilation/ventilation-systems/
Air tight house is not health Effective! We need ventilation. I paid an arm an a leg for mechaniczny ventilation plus a humidifier unit add on. I still get sinus problems every winter??
You may have problems with your ventilation system because an efficient ventilation system renews stale air with new air. This allows to have a good indoor air quality according to the needs of the occupants. For more information on our ventilation systems, you can visit our website: www.aereco.com/
it could be medical issue and there’s virus everywhere

Thanks for the info. 👌 👏 😍 👍
this is so good. genius
Where does the most of CO2 get collected in the house? Does it get lower to the floor because it’s heavier than O2? Or is it more or less uniformly mixed in a real house? Is it taken into account when the ventilation is planned?
The ventilation system takes into account the fact that CO2 is commonly considered as homogenous in a room of a house/apartment. Fresh air should preferentially enter the dwelling through bedrooms and living rooms where CO2 is usually generated. If you need more information, you can contact us on our website: www.aereco.com/contact-us/

awesome vidoe, thank for this tutorial!
Very Important knowledge
How can I improve ventilation in my house if I have type 1? Installing heat recovery ventilators in ventilation channels in every rooms would be a good idea?
Type 1 is very basic ventilation system, there are different level of ventilation as explained in the video. A mechanical ventilation with heat recovery is the best in term of energy efficiency and indoor air quality. Each ventilation system has its benefits but we have to consider the global configuration of the dwelling to pick and to design properly the ventilation system. For more information, we invite you to contact us at www.aereco.com
And iwarn against how improper ventilation may can shall lead to diseases like pandemic
Yes, a good ventilation system is essential for good indoor air quality.
Thank you, I think we can or should open doors and windows at required time to keep room healthy
With an efficient ventilation system, this is not necessary: the stale air is automatically evacuated by the exhaust units, and renewed thanks to the air inlets.
Main hall of our house because coolest in winters and hotest in summer although there are 2 big door grills and 6 small patches for air from wall. No wall fan .How can we improve air ventilation and temperature of hall?
Dimensionning an efficient air ventilation system depends on plenty of parameters (the size, how many occupants will live in, climate, configuration, …). For more information, please contact us on www.aereco.com

It's really sad that they have to make an idiot video for this concept. My aunt closes every door and window and turns on the AC when it's 4C cooler outside than it is inside. I bought her *multiple* exhaust and intake fans for her windows and she turned all of them into intake fans.
At Aereco, we consider that ventilation needs a deep expertise to achieve good performance level regarding indoor air quality and energy efficiency. Using AC is not always the best solution, so for more advice please visit us on our website : www.aereco.com
I have to keep the windows closed 99% time of the day cos I live near a very dusty road. This causes a lot of discomfort in the room. Should I simply install an exhaust in my room by keeping windows closed? Will that work?
Mainly, we find pollutant indoor. In a case you live near a dusty road, we advise you to think about MVHR solutions : an MVHR unit helps to recover energy and improve substantially the indoor air quality, thanks to embedded filters. For more information, please visit our website : www.aereco.com/products/heat-recovery-units/
Nice video with the skillful drawing, good explanation, thanks

This product is total garbage. When it's windy outside it opens permanently and lets in all the cold air and outside noises as if a window is open.
Doesn't sound like the airflow controller has been fitted, or the acoustic foam? Has the wall unit been set to the automatic position so it can respond to humidity? Have you contacted Aereco regarding this?
We are sorry for this bad experience. Quality is a key-word at Aereco: quality controls are realised at every step of the manufacturing process of our products. External factors may explain your problems. Contact us so we can help you: www.aereco.com/contact-us/
exactly which product do you have? Do you also have the chimney fan?
@@aliasli5298 No just the product on the doors, it was already installed when I moved in. Now I ve just put powertape over it to close it permanently.
@@tf8615 What is their name, can you see it somewhere? Is it the window inlet version?
which is the best ventilation model to minimize risk of germ (virus, bacteria) through airborne spreading?
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. It removes stale moist air and replaces it with fresh filtered air from outside. Keeps your home fresh as it allows air to flow throughout the property
There is no obvious answer: it will depend on the dwelling/building and the intended use. If you are interested, you will find more information on the different ventilation systems that exist on our website: www.aereco.com/ventilation/ventilation-systems/

I have this system at home and when there is wind outside, a lot of wind comes into the house too. I do not recommend it at all, it enters the cold and enters even the humidity from outside
Can you describe your experience more detailed? I am interested.

I have this system at home and when there is wind outside, a lot of wind comes into the house too. I do not recommend it at all, it enters the cold and enters even the humidity from outside. Very very bad invention.
Hello Monica, sorry to hear you feel this way. Depending on the inlet strategy i.e. window inlets or wall inlets, we have different products to prevent excess air entering the property. They are called airflow controllers. The specification of this product is particularly important with properties in exposed areas. Please contact Aereco if you have an issue.
