Paleontologist Andre LuJan shows us how to jacket a fossil in his prep lab on Dino Hunters season 2 on Discovery Channel
Myriapods includes only centipedes and millipedes. Celicerates includes only arachnids, sea spiders, horseshoe crabs, and kin great lecture though
Kinda reminds me of a salamander.
Salamanders are amphibians just like the Eryops. Isn’t that cool!
Damn, thats a cool fossil.
Glad you think so! We have many more cool fossils here at Texas through time!
FURRY !!!!
I’m watching from Illinois and I’d like to sincerely thank you for uploading this. I’m really grateful for a high quality lecture like this one!! Always happy to learn more about trilos
so I went on a walk. Like I do on the weekends and I found this.. I wasn't looking for it. Just was picking up interesting pieces of coral. How can I show it on here. It looks like a trilobite
Started reading Richard Fortey's "Trilobite - Eyewitness to Evolution" and Ricardo Levi-Setti's "The Trilobite - A Visual Journey" in order to study these beautiful organisms...glad I found this presentation. It immediately gave me a basic understanding of Trilobites thus giving me a headstart of understanding. Many thanks!
Haha, I recently read both those too, Fortey is amazing.
Fell in love with invertebrate paleontology recently! Thank you for posting this in-depth lecture!
