I started Time 2 Train Fitness in 2013 as an outdoor boot camp company in Long Beach, CA. During its four-year run, Time 2 Train Fitness received awards as the Best Boot Camp, and I won Best Personal Trainer with the local newspaper. At the end of 2020, Time 2 Train Fitness was rebooted with an online spin. Moving into 2022, Time 2 Train Fitness focused on improving the quality of online workouts and creating channels that empower its subscribers and help them develop a consistent workout routine.
I have a bachelor's and master's in exercise science and am working on completing my doctorate in health & human performance.

Small Space & Apartment Dumbbell Strength Workout - Upper Body & Core Routine
On-the-ground dumbbell interval circuit training! A total body workout to challenge your upper body and build core strength.

Maximize your time to exercise! This quick at-home dumbbell circuit will give your full body a great muscle burn. The 15-minute workout includes a full-body circuit to build strength and core strengthening exercises to help with daily activities. It starts with a warm-up and is followed by a 12-minute interval circuit. As you gain confidence with each exercise, challenge yourself to improve in every session. This class focuses on circuit and strength training to burn calories and build strength.
If you have a pair of lightweight dumbbells and a heavy one, that will be great to utilize throughout this class. Even better is a pair of adjustable dumbbells, but the technique is always crucial, no matter your weight! Don't hesitate to use a lighter weight to improve your technique. Of course, we want to challenge ourselves, but injury from poor technique is never what we want. We want you to return for more workouts and build consistency in your at-home fitness routine. This is the at-home class when you're limited on time or want a quick workout.
Once the 12-minute circuit starts, try your best during the 40 seconds of work. The "work" section is when we give it our all and try not to rest too much. You can take small breaths but try to keep your body moving or modify the exercise. With HIIT-style training, we want to push our bodies within their limits. If an activity is too intense, don't feel bad about modifying or altering it to something you feel comfortable with. These steps should motivate people to keep on track and work towards more advanced exercises.

Better late than never...I got this in late tonight, and so glad that I did!!! Super invigorating and loved the intensity!! I did split stances on the double arm rows and the flys. I like the format of HIIT timed circuit first and then the established number of reps for the second circuit of exercises!!! This is a good one Tyler!!!!! 🙌🙌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!! 😊

This was absolutely super today!!! To maximize the burn 🔥, I used my kettlebell and dumbbells 💪!!!!! Loved the various combo lunges combined with upper body not only for the strength aspect, but the cardio as well!!! Thumbs way up here!!! 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤩

This was such a fun workout 🏋♀ 🥳 I love pikes, the stretch feels great 💪🏻Same thing for the hamstring walkouts! Anything with side movements makes something in my lower back click 🤢 so I replaced the side plank with weighed glute bridge pulses 💥 Thank you for another great time! 🙏🏻🤗

@@annetremblay I'm just planting the seed here. What I've been trying to do is sneak in exercises close to what I do in my own programming. I focus on exercises that help me move better and perform better in activities I enjoy (pickleball, bowling, mountain biking, etc.). You might like those aspects in the short ones that get the heart rate going and help those joints feel better!

Hey Tyler, this was an awesome workout!! Feels great to be back to your previous format, where we have a 30 minute full body strength and abs workout!!! I used my heavy dumbbells when there were double arm exercises and my kettlebell for the one arm exercises including the side lunge and halo!! Fantastic!!! 🤩👍💯!!!!!

Challenge to Change is how it happens!! And, this one does exactly that!! My favorites were the Bear to Donkey Kicks and the Plank Rotate to Thread the Needle!! Absolutely awesome way to start my morning!! 🤩👐👐!!!!!
YESSS! I've been doing a version of the Bear to Donkey Kick with my chest elevated on a bench and when I connected the dots on a floor-based version, I was super excited to share it with the channel. So happy you enjoyed this workout!

How heavy are the dumbbells?
I'm using 10s and 15s in this video, but those can be altered depending on your fitness level. If you have different weights, my best tip is to adjust after your first round. Give it a go and then adjust to challenge yourself. Let me know how it goes!

I definitely felt the lawn mower to kickback the next day. The balance element and big toe to hip connection is something I try to do in my own training. Loved that I could bring it to one of these 15 minute sessions! Thank you as always for starting your week with me!
