PANO Motorsports Miata is BACK - 33 Year Old Race Car
Since 2019 we have building and testing and racing a 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata! This car started out as a neglected grocery getter. As we dug deeper into it we found many problems and several that could have ended the life of the car. Being that there is an emotional tie to this 33 year old Japanese sports car we kept working hard to fix it. 2 engines, 3 differentials, and laundry list of upgrades and restorations, the Miata lives on!! For now at least... The goal is race the Miata against a whole bunch of other Miatas. Enjoy the journey and let us know if you've ever experienced a Miata in your life!

Did you get the oiling issue figured out?
Mostly, yes! Pulled the oil pump off and found a seized pressure valve. It was stuck open! A new OEM pump is on the way and that should fix the problem 🤞🤞
