I've always wondered what caused the fire to start 'exploding', thus spreading the fire etc,, since it was always pretty localised to that window/seating area of the bar lol its interesting though comparing the 1992 fire to this most recent one, the place literally eploded in flames this time lol

1992 - 1993: Grant started taking Sharon for granted and would often stay out late at night drinking. This is what started the Sharongate story. In 1993, he got involved in some dodgy people, and he and Sharon got in a big fight, where she revealed she only married him for the pub. He went beserk, and started hitting her. One night, he hit her again, Michelle got involved and called the police. He was then arrested for attacking the police officers and resisting arrest. Sorry for droning on.

UK Gold repeated this in 1999 and althoughly it was so edited and they stopped showing the omnibus editions of these episodes and but this was one was originally broadcast !!
