This is a popular event for us and it is held every year either in the Spring (late May) or in the Fall (early September) which ever the facility has open for us.

@@cerberus3280 I did have to pull over just around the corner as I had to gather up everything that had just happened. My buddy with the cam was in contact with our radios and said he had it all on his cam and I was good. But yeah had a few moments of "wtf" just happened.

I would seriously NOT recommend doing that. I certainly won't again. It was a Had to do thing for me once at least to get on cam. Thing is that with the head on you can no longer see the front tire or handlebars.... very unnerving.

@@cerberus3280 EK yeah a bit I guess. Now with Relic 2.0 ready to debut at ANE in Boston in just a few weeks, I may consider doing ONE more ride... Maybe. Shifting was not an issue as I never went fast enough to take it out of first gear anyway.

Yeah, I have my Linux PC set up to notify me of all my google notifications, they are on the desktop when ever I sit down. Handy for the most part, but annoying at times I suppose. :) As I drive School bus I am in and out of the house many times so I keep track.

It's been a long, long Winter my friend... I've been working as much overtime as I can get, saving money up for my trip to Pittsburgh and Anthrocon at the end of June. Have attended several small Cons in my area as well, working on getting my stamina up for being in my fursuit. Today I had a wonderful time getting back onto a Harley for the first time in 32 years. It took about 2 hours of riding around in the parking lot before I felt comfortable enough to get on the bike suited up. Still a bit discerning with the head on as visibility down toward the road is extremely limited.

I have Verizon DSL service here which is the only thing available to me where I live other than satellite which costs 3 or 4 times more and you get limited as to how much you can download at high speed so really no better. I would drop Verizon in a second if something else was available its lousy. I would love to travel around Europe again although I don't think I will ever get the chance again. My ultimate trip now would be to get to Australia to see my cousins new place near Bendigo (just north of Melbourne). I expect that if I were to go I would make it a one-way trip... I don't think I would make any effort to come back to the states.

Having the land is great but more work than most imagine. You need to keep the fence lines and hedgerows cut back so brush doesn't overtake the fields. There are only certain times of the year you can do this too so as not to interfere with the hay fields and their cuttings. Not to mention the forestry knowledge needed to maintain tree species and growth for firewood. But yeah, I love it.

Have a Ford 5000 with a 6 ft brush hog that gets the job done easily enough, but still has limitations for some of it.

Naw, will wait til spring for the detector, way too much frost in the ground to be of any use for a few months at the very least.
