I'm sorry but I watched this video at 2.8x speed, I've been using the same extension for like 3 years now, every yt video is default on 2x speed, unless the person talks slow or I just want the info, which then it goes potentially up to 5x. Most anime is default to 1.2x, the boring the faster, up to 2.5x (my subtitle reading speed). I also bound my side mouse button to "skip 1second" so when nothing is happening I just tap my side mouse button, tap tap tap. I watched demon slayer at 2.1x (excluding the fight scenes) oshi no ko is 1.3x on average etc.

I mean if he likes it that way then good for him but yeah you'll usually be missing out on some good stuff (tho it can be a good method to rewatch an Anime until the point you dropped off - like One Piece). That said, speeding up videos can be very good on learning videos for example (saves you time + keep you focus).

I don't usually have fears of trucks because I am extra cautious when crossing streets, but wow are fast vehicles scary when they move past you like "Vrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm !!!!" you can really tell how devastating getting hit by something can be by sound alone. Watching anime/manga did influence what I like and what I dislike a lot, they have a tendency on Romanticizing a lot of things. About the 3.5 speed thing, a lot of people would agree that it would have been more productive if he just watched it at a regular pace, watching it at 3.5 speed is kind of fine because you might have a tight schedule or something but the fact that he skips to "The Good Parts" kind of destroys the experience and you miss out on understanding the characters more and the story. Skipping on these also makes some of the fights kind of dull and less impactful as well.

Honestly pirating might be the better experience. For one piece dub episodes they are actually one episode out of sync. Which actually ruined the experience me. Pirating websites don’t even have that problem. Combined with the comment stuff, if they don’t at least fix the sync problem by tomorrow. I will remove my subscription from them.

Boruto fans wanna be the loudest in the room, then get butthurt when you remind them that hentai series have better sales figures. They definitely don't like it when you point out the characters being disproportionate in many panels, the lack of inspiring paneling/storyboarding in general and the part where impact is almost never depicted well or at all in the series. And definitely don't bring up the plot holes and the recent Kurama retcon. They like to cherry pick goofy ish like YT clips and Manga Plus, because their argument is moot when you look at ACTUAL metrics like sales and crunchyroll upvotes, likes and comments or which things were ACTUALLY trending on twitter and how they are rated on IMDb and/or MAL.
