It might take a little while to get right, but worth it in the end. This is a simple underbase with a highlight white print, just two screens with 0.125 of a choke. The Adco Teecoat screen emulsion coater for screen printing - overview. We love it. Saved heaps of time and effort for us. But the greatest thing is its consistency of emulsion over screen (EOM), the fact that anyone can be taught to use it quickly with the same consistency, and the configurability is amazing. Screen Printing zippers and Polos on an Automatic Press! Can it be done without bursting screens?
Does your Titan have the "Step Back" mode feature? Is there any way to use the Step Back mode without the flash dryer being connected, with my stand alone flash dryer placed in that spot? I had an electrician run 220 for this Anatol Titan press but apparently, I need two 220 lines run to the press, one for the flash dryer? I'm hoping for a way around that, thanks for your help!
Hey there. This is actually a VOLT not a TITAN, it does run stepback and you can disable the flash but only if it is integrated into the system; i.e. not a stand alone flash.
@@ministryofshirts If I disabled the flash, could I put my 110 flash dryer over that spot and still take advantage of the Step Back feature?
@@ink5961 hmm not sure. You might need to consult with Anatol on that one. Are you aware of the Anatol facebook group? I will find the link
@@ink5961 it's the Anatol Owners & Operators you should be able to find the answer with them facebook.com/groups/709498372532440

you will need to go to our website to find this out.
Our sales were down 30% 1st quarter this year but rebounded in the second and looks to be okay for the next few months. DTF is most likely to blame as it is everywhere now, and bigger shops are getting hit the hardest here in Downtown Los Angeles. Cheers!
Thanks for letting us know that mate! Awesome to get the perspective in the USA too. Onwards and Upwards!
Looks like fun Sam!!
hmmmm. debatable

How do I find this machine?
This is an Anatol Volt Press, see here: anatol.com/presses/volt-automatic-screen-printing-machine/
You can contact the sales guy here: instagram.com/anatol_with_me/
Hi, thanks for your interest in anatol equipment, let me know your email address and I will send you the details, regards
Hi, thank you for your interest in anatol equipment, pls provide me with your email address so I can send you the details, Regards.
did you mean .0125 choke? .9 point center choke on 11 inch square is .0125
With a highlight white we choke 0.25 but that is split inner/outer in illustrator so the actual choke is half that which is 0.125
Hi , just wondering how much power supply you need coming in to your factory to run one of these The rapid wave flash is 63 amps
Hey, quite a bit, but its complex. Best thing would be to contact Sam directly on sam@ministryshirts.com.au he will be able to advise you.
Looks great👍
Thanks
Fantastic video. Nobody showed this and as I am considering a volt it was incredibly informative. Thank you.
You are so welcome. Glad it was helpful.
Any tips or things to consider now that you have had the volt for sometime? I am considering the purchase of a 6/8. Thank you.@@ministryofshirts
Hey @frap55 Probably the best thing would be to get in touch with Sam with any questions you have. You can dm the team on facebook.com/ministryshirtsaustralia/
Nice overview and looks like a well built machine.
Its a really well built machine, we love it!
If only reverse was an option, in reality 😂
I know, right!?
What brand and how big is that dryer? looks like and anatol brand I'm thinking 🤔
It's not an Anatol - its an old heatseeker (Australian) dryer. Its 3m long with a drying oven space of 2m (2 ovens together controlled independently). the lead in is not very long and the belt is not very wide. We replaced it with a super long and wide Vastex some time ago.
In Türkiye, the method of laying fabric is much better and faster in production 😊😊😊
nice work

Hey Hey Hey. From one Podcast to another, thanks!
I need a job in Australia, I live in Bangladesh, I have 20 years experience auto screen print machine
Sorry, there are no openings right now.
Sim process 🐐
anatol double decker press looks way more quality built than the m and r chameleon. M and R manual press is not that great because of their micros . Their Cobra is by far the best auto press for sure.
Hey @wagyu_killer thanks for your comments. I was unaware that Anatol did a 'double-decker' press. I imagine they are all a muchness in the end.
No cool down after the first yellow. I guess the flash back method has no cooling station
yah thats about right. it does not flash a second time though so it does cool down then.
what mesh did you use?
77T
I have the same Vastex HD 2000 8/4. Do you lower the off contact prior to using the micro adjustments? Do you then raise the off contact after registration? Thank you in advance and hello from Moorpark Ca USA.
Its always essential to set the off-contact before you get the rego dialled in. It you do the rego first and then change the off contact the rego will drop out.
@@ministryofshirts Great and thanks!

I'm professional tshirts screen printing master
I wanna do the same kind regards 😅
How do you align your pallets so they are all the same. We have the same press.
If you mean the position in/out from the hub we just measure them from the back of the platen to the back of the arm. If you mean height then we have a totally different technique which requires a video.
@@ministryofshirts you said it right, just a simple measure from the back of the arm to make sure they're all even. Sounds good, running a simple two color print for our first job on the press. Ive watched your alignment videos, we should be good to go.
@@elitecircledesign39 awesome. feel free to reach out before you pull your hair out!
What brand is the gold ink!😮
that's a Rutland Ink - remember to use a more open mesh than normal.
Great video 👍
thanks Pete, great cameo of you in there too!
Great! I don't have a carousel, but an online table... How do you manage the problem of ink transfer under the frame when you switch from one color to another? For example that there is no blue (first color) under the red frame (second color) without intermediate drying? Thank you.
thanks for your question. There are a few things you can do to make this work properly. Reduce the ink some more so it is less sticky. Increase the screen mesh count to at least a 77T which will produce a finer print with less ink to connect to the other screens. You can also flash the garment between the top colours too. Wet on Wet takes a bit of practice but if you are using low mesh count screens and standard thickness of inks then it will build up too much on the underside of the other screens. With good wet on wet you will always have build up on the other screens which is fine and should get out of control. Lastly, always choose to put the colours in order of the size of each part of the print. Start with the smaller ones and build up to the larger ones as you progress through the print.
@@ministryofshirts Thank you very much for your comments. Indeed, I used a 54 T mesh and I'm not sure I printed from the smallest design element to the largest :) I will be careful next time I test 3 or 4 colors. It's very kind of you to take the time to answer me. See you soon.
@@LartiZen you are so welcome. Try a higher mesh count. Reduce them inks! but most of all have fun with it.
@@ministryofshirts Last question, what about wet on wet on dark garment whit water based ink ? Is it possible ? or better if dry the first white layer ? Thanks.
@@LartiZen yes always flash the underbase, wet on wet does not mean laying a colour down on top of another wet colour. It just means not flashing between each colour after you have laid and flashed the underbase.
Hello I'm professional tshirts screen printing master my experience 18 year I need job in your comi
sorry we cant help you there.
I'm professional tshirts screen printing master I need job
sorry we cant help you there.
What mesh did you use for the white and orange?
We used 77T (196 US) mesh count on these highlights as the last two inks are printed wet on wet. If the print area is bigger and super blocky we would use a 90T (230 US) mesh count.😎
@@ministryofshirts we have an issue with our ink smearing around the image, lkke a shadow, what angles and pressure should we use to solve it?
@@moshemcnally2970 ok what ink type (waterbased or plastisol) and brand are you using and colour? What mesh counts are you using? Press type and brand? Automatic, Manual etc?

Couldn't you just use a smaller squeegee?
Not on an auto. the pressure that an auto-provides would most likely just bend the squeegee. Also even if you did the pressure would still cause the screen to connect to the zipper and would eventually pop the screen. Autos are just not as sensitive as a manual.
