I'm so confused for 20minutes because it still causes issues even when I followed every instructions, then I noticed that I forgot to add a quotation mark to the VM arguments and when I added it, it works! thank you very much!

any automation tester please first delete the module file it is import and than save it will work

thank you! I followed instructions to a T yet I didn't have the classpath trouble after creating a JavaFX project. Maybe they patched it in a recent Eclipse or JavaFX SDK version

At 3:00 you add the JavaFX libraries to the classpath. At 3:45 you add them to the modulepath via run configuration VM argument "--module-path" and at 4:05 you delete them from the classpath dependency and add them to the modulepath dependency. Why not add the JavaFX libraries to the module path from the very beginning? Then you don't have to delete the module-info.java and not set --module-path VM argument. Or will it cause problems later? Well, I'll give it a try. Until then, thank you for the entire JavaFX course.

When i add the library the errors do not go away..... i have no idea how to fix this. Update: PUTTING IT IN THE CLASSPATH DOES NOT WORK, MODULE PATH WORKS. ALSO, REMOVING MODULE_INFO.JAVA BREAKS THE PROJECT. DO NOT DO THIS

It said it was unable to find the Javafx controls file and now i can no longer open eclipse because "The executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library"

This saved me so much stress just trying to Google everything was a PITA seeing and following along helped. Thank You. NOTE: I'm not sure why I had to run Eclipse as an administrator to install the IDE plugin it took several tries.
