Great catch of Dash 8 509 on the CS train 14.

I rode Capital Corridor from Sacramento to San Jose, felt like the train was going to jump the tracks over switches and crossovers. And I like trains, but it was nerve racking riding backwards.

I believe the Caltrain locomotive 919 got into an accident in San Bruno. I'm going to miss these EMD F40PH Locomotives and the Gallery Cars.

I used to live in L. A. and Stockton is known as the Oakland of Central California but with better educated people.

I already caught that train in Modesto Amtrak station.

4000 has always been an anomaly to me. It seems like for the past several years, it just didn't even exist at all. No sources truly claimed it was retired, but yet it never ran in service at all, and I always had an odd interest in it because of that. But of course now, it indeed is retired for good, and we can get our glances of it here before it leaves for Peru. And you can also see 4010 behind the F40s. That unit was a similar case, but except unlike 4000, it already was widely accepted that 4010 had indeed been retired well ahead of time.

Not only does 112 have an E-Bell and that Wrap now, but they even reverted it back to having Incandescent Ditch Lights!

Looks like 8305’s Reflector Strips are now normal again.
