In today’s video, I share a deeply disappointing customer experience at the Tata Motors Select Service Center in Uppal during the 3rd service of my Tata Altroz. While the car servicing itself was satisfactory, the customer handling and communication were shockingly subpar. This video aims to shed light on the importance of better service practices at such reputed service centers.
🚩 What Went Wrong?
1️⃣ Unfair treatment at parking: When I arrived, I was asked to park my car outside due to “lack of space,” yet I noticed other cars being allowed inside later. When questioned, I received conflicting answers.
2️⃣ Lost job card slip: After the service details were written, the slip mysteriously disappeared. How does such mismanagement happen? 🤔
3️⃣ MID (Multi-Information Display) stopped working: A possible unknown software update caused the MID to malfunction, which added to the frustration.
4️⃣ Rude behavior from staff: The watchman harshly asked me to stop recording, even though I was outside the workshop and at the reception area, where there was no explicit restriction. The signage prohibiting photography and videography wasn’t clear either.
💡 I also discuss minor issues with the Tata Altroz, including areas where Tata Motors could improve its overall service experience.
