Subbed👍 Excellent overview of the Virtuosa. I'll be on it in 2 months. I think with this ship and their other huge ships, you have to be strategic with ordering drinks, eating dinner, attending shows, or special events. Which means show up extra early. I do on all my cruises especially dinner at the buffet. I bring along a sling for extra bottle/can drinks and if I can order more than one, I do so and immediately take them back to my room. Then get back in line for the one I want to enjoy on the opened deck. Thank you!

Went on the 6th to 13th July due to Rail problems did not arrive till 6.30pm Fantastic staff got us on board and to our cabin within 10 minutes. 6000 passengers, never ever had any problems with finding seating. Plenty of seating in buffet at either ends. We had a sea view table every time we dined there. Bar seating tight but weather being lousy kept passengers away from outside bars. Food reasonable in buffet and just ok in dining room. Staff probably the best of all 10 different cruise line’s we’ve been on. Problem is for anyone who has booked during school holidays it will be a nightmare with around 1200 plus kids on board. It’s a party ship so for older passengers beware. Overall we would go on the Virtuoso again but would not be our first choice. 😊

When we went, 6000 onboard, absolutely horrendous, couldn’t get a seat nowhere, couldn’t get served at the bars , never again, worst experience ever. I’ve been on virtually the same size ship with a maximum of 2750 passengers

Reviewing the casino you said the house always wins. That’s not the case if you play certain games and know how it works. First, whenever you go into any casino, you have to ask yourself one question: are you there to play for FUN? Or to make MONEY? If you are there with friends and have fun, then by all means play whatever you want and have a blast with friends. But, if you want to make money or gain gambling perks like cash, onboard perks and even free cruises, then you have to set yourself up and know how to play to win. I personally love playing craps and my brother and I have always done well over the years. No, you don’t have to cheat or do anything nefarious. Before I go on my cruise, I determine how much per day I want in spending money I want to play with the possibility of losing it. You never gamble with anymore than you allotted for each day. That way you don’t lose it all in one day and have no spending cash for the remainder of the cruise for drinks or excursions or uncharged dining. My last cruise, I allotted $200.00/ day for the first 5 days. I played about 1-3 hours each night while the theater was doing shows so that way there were less people in the casino. I won at craps each day up to an amount I planned on getting to and then colored up. I liked going to the cash cage and getting cash so I now had money for the next days excursions or drinks etc. My room balance with all the drinks or specialty eating venues etc I paid down each night from my casino winnings so by the end of the cruise, I owed nothing. All I had to do was I went to the pursers desk each night after leaving the casino and paid on the room. It was on my way to my balcony stateroom for the night. I actually went home with more money than I brought on my cruise for spending entertainment. Everything was essentially paid for. My next cruise I will do the same thing as playing in the casino was part of my entertainment I planned on doing. As for others that played to have fun, they enjoyed the games for fun and got what they wanted from that too.

Great tour/video - just disappointed to see all the lounge chairs that seem to be blocking/on the walking track on deck 18? Why would they leave them sticking out like that? In my experience the track is usually pretty busy and this just makes it a bit more 'challenging'? LOL - wondering if the promenade deck would be a better place to walk?
