Thank you for this vid mate keep up the good work
@@ctoan6882 no problem mate glad you enjoyed it 😁
Cracking visuals mate! Really enjoyed this. We’d love to get a camp there, looks lush. New sub from us bud.
@@Roam.Outdoors awesome mate, there’s a great extra part of the loop through some dense dark woods and through a fully functional farm, amazing in summer or if you can get out early, underated area in my eyes
@@Rambling_Red Definitely seems underrated! Have to definitely pay a visit in the Summer! Thank you mate.
Top video mate. New sub here 💯👍
@@RobertStringer-bv1yw cheers mate, each one of you guys really means a lot, wanna show everyone the great stuff you can do in this country😃
Should get upto snowdon heard that has fantastic cloud inversion ! Even better than what u saw last camp 😉😉
@@Airlessmean would love to mate, had university all week, gutted I couldn’t get therr
Nice 😊
Amazing views!! Mad respect to you for having the balls to solo adventure travel the way that you do! 🥾🏔️
@@BobI-jb4rk I thought that it would be the scariest thing ever, however the first time you do it you realise it’s the most peaceful experience ever😁
I was in exactly the same spot this Friday evening 😊
@@thatunfitbloke great to get out any winds knocking about 😁
This will bang views tbf bro
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed it, underated that place is😁
Great footage Bro 🌄👍
Cheers matey, really starting to get the hang of setting the scene, make it more cinematic for you guys to enjoy 😁
Your enthusiam and leadership are fantastic. Great video mate.
Cheers mate, live for it!
@ subscribed! if you are ever planning a group hike I would be mega keen. Just started solo hiking myself. I’ve done Watkins path up snowdon, scaffel pike, and the pen y fan horseshoe route so far but my mates aren’t really into it and would love to meet some people who go out frequently. I’m 22 and super interested in doing some more scrambling and more technical climbs but don’t want to put myself out of my depth on my own, especially in the winter months. Cheers for your time
@ 100% bro, 21 myself, glad your out there enjoying it, if you need any tips feel free to ask, add my insta @rambling__red, we all start somewhere 🫡
Sea to summit spork is a game changer! Just got my nortent the other day so can’t wait to test it out
@@andrewrhodes1173 hope you had a good one in it, love mine, treating me well
Nice trick with the footprint, i will do that on mine
It’s a game changer mate glad it helped 😁
Ordered mine yesterday and came today so can’t wait to get out and test it 🙌🏻
@@andrewrhodes1173 you’ll love it bud, cracking bit of kit
looking at doing this hike/camp next week along with Y garn :) gonna be fun carrying my 4.5kg tent along with winter gear! :)
@@Airlessmean sounds like a right adventure that, the scree is a killer😂
nice tent, been contemplating wanting one but i got a terra nova quasar for dirt cheap bout 8 weeks ago ago the room in that is ridiculous! can have room for me my gear and kneel up etc really spacious but the weight is disgusting at 4.5kg! plus it has snow skirts as a bonus! and i had the cheap sheaprd hooks given to me with it but got 12 alpkit spikes to help it for winter !
Nice informative video…..have you seam sealed it? I know Nortent recommend you do….id expect this tho to be already done on a tent that’s costing north of £500! mine is hopefully arriving this week all upgrades to the tent ie poles to be in place….cant wait to get out in it. 👍🏻
@@R33ADJ I didn’t seem seal it, I believe that is more important with the vern 1 PC edition due to its one layer poly cotton system, you will love the tent mate it’s very roomy and very reliable. Nortent also provide an excellent customer service
Haha I liked the tip on the footprint attachment. 3000mm dyneema that’s tough! Someone get this man a contract with Nortent
@@Bran_Outdoors 👀😂
Great views as always over there! One of my favourite mountains. Good video mate! 👍🏼
@@RossInTheWild cheers matey, comments like this is why I love doing it😁
@Rambling_Red The best thing to do is to get out there. There's no feeling like it! 👍🏼 keep it up.
Good video pal. It's a special mountain. You filmed it well. The shelter up the top is really cool. The sun and clouds together looked great. Good drone footage over the lake. I camped there about 3-4 months ago by the lake. It was beautiful. Most of mine are Brecon Beacons. I travel a bit too. Keep enjoying the mountains😁👌
@@JamieHarding5 cheers mate this is why I do what I do, so glad you enjoyed the video I’ll keep them coming 😄
Great video Al. That’s one of my go to routes. Walked it, run it and camped at that lake many times. Shame the wind ruined it in the end.
@@stephenaucock6118 it was a great but intense route, camo was in such an ace spot too, just had to blow a gail 😂
Serious winds there. Did the Vern 1 survive OK? Subscribed to see future adventures
@@hedleythorne held strong up until about the point where it was forecast to 45mph when the gusts surpassed that it became unbearable so had to bail. However those wind speeds were simply forecasts I didn’t have a wind speed device😁
I'm not sure how Cadair Idris is a forgotten mountain. I'd guess it's the third most popular after Snowdon and Pen y Fan.
I guess it's each to their own; some may say it is, fair enough. However, after I researched the mountain on youtube I couldn't find many videos showing the mountain or its routes so to show its beauty I developed the title
MY vave mountain.
@@streetdrummersinc4387 I can see why, it was stunning 🤩
You need a good tent light.!!
Facts!😂
Need to go up here!!!
@@benandrews6616 it’s mint bro, proper on-top of the world 😮💨
Love it, never been up that way. Always go up the minniford path. What's those goggles/glasses u have on? Awesome. Keep it going. I have the Vern 1 and love it. Atb paul
@@thatunfitbloke used to be a cyclist mate the glasses were a alternate choice to oakleys they’re called ‘100%’. Glad you enjoyed !😁
Love these videos keep them coming it's so interesting and the drone footage just adds to it.
Cheers mate only going to get more interesting with the snow coming 😁 thankyou for support🫡
What a video! You can really see that even if you have the best kit in the world, things still go wrong. This video is real and pure entertainment 🔥
@@Bran_Outdoors cheers bro, Tryna keep it as real as possible, the world ain’t all what you see on social media, dangerous if you aren’t prepared 🫡
Been out in the Vern 1 a few times on my channel now and STILL not had any winds to fully test it 😢 you hit the jackpot there. Good video mate, keep it up
@@KieCamps never thought I would hear someone wanting to get that weather, fair play mate 😂 Glad you enjoyed it anyways 😁
@@Rambling_Red Knowing how the tent performs gives me peace of mind 👌🏻
@@KieCamps 100% mate I don’t know exact wind speeds but was forecast at 55mph I wouldn’t recommend above 45 to be fair got a bit sketchy after that
❤❤
A good mission, I really enjoyed the video Also good to hear the gear reviews in these sort of videos, even if you review it in more than one video, for those who've just found your channel
@@bobbroadhurst1648 glad you liked it mate, killer this one was, will bring more reviews and kit lists in the future cheers for the comment 😁
The razor back ridge looked like fun
Awesome fine day, and a beautiful wee Tarn to chill off and refresh in, you'd almost feel guilty pissing in it wouldn't ya Great scenery from up high, and a picturesque stroll thru the lush green woodland to start and finish the hike with. Loved the video
Great video. Loved the bit of drone footage where you're both sitting on them big flat topped rocks near the summit, like a couple of Garden Gnomes Beautiful weather yous had and what a place to watch the sunsets and sunrise Watching from New Zealand, liked and sub'd
@@bobbroadhurst1648 thankyou for the comment mate, love it when people enjoy the content, that’s why I do it, I agree we had the perfect weather for it☀️😁
Well done but you added a lot of distance by going back to Pen y Pass, if you go short distance down Snowdon tourist path then drop down to Nant Peris it is much shorter
@@Pete7777777 cheers mate, didn’t think of that, yet makes a lot of sense😁

@@Rambling_Red I bet! Two questions. Would you do it again? What would you do different if you did it again? 🤔
