Hey, you wouldn’t know this, but I heard a piston went right through the motor. It’s not something you want to do racing. Have a piston go outside the motor. That’s not a good sign having a piston right outside the motor always through the oil pan. That’s not something you wanna do that’s a major explosion

Thank you for the video interview. In the mid 70´s was Don photographing stills of the Supers and selling them in the grandstands? I remember well the nice wooden box in which were stored the 8x10 images and the mats. Color & B&W Always displaying a photo on the cover as he walked at the bottom of the stands looking for raised hands. I have to this day several of his images of the greats of the mid 70’s…The Pine, Gary Allbritain, Ronnie Walace, Steve Gioia, Kempton Dates and some Mods as well like Reggie Ruggerio. Great to know that he is still going strong 😊Always loved you photo’s Don.

I like how they put the mesh over the intake runners to keep from sucking the bald eagles into the engine.

Roy is the voice of Oswego speedway and easily my favourite track announcer. Been listening to him and watching the supers for a long time. I’m from Canada and Oswego Speedway is the best place in the world! Can’t wait for classic!

narrow the bodies , take away some of the downforce in the rear. it will make the drivers drive the car more . have tires last longer

Great interview with Doug Logan! A plaque for the whole Rush Hour and This Week on Dirt tv crew at the Hall of Fame would be great.

Jim’s memories of how it used to be hold true at pretty much every venue that’s still open! Ramp trucks, cars built by the drivers and crew, and hanging around for hours after the last event to drink a cold one with fans and fellow competitors, are all elements that have totally disappeared from short track racing! Glad I was at the speedways in the 70’s & 80’s to see the last couple decades of the “good old days”! RIP Dale, and though I never saw you race (I’m from NC), it’s clear the impact that you had on your fellow competitors and racing family!

It's been well overdue for Doug Logon to be named on the wall at the Hall of Fame. I so loved to watch This Week in Dirt and Rush Hour On Dirt. It was my outlet to see these other tracks and keep up on the racing. My home track is Ransomville Speedway. I have never been to some of these other tracks and I thank Doug and his crew for a great job bringing it live on tv. So congratulations on your induction. Again , we'll deserved.

Awesome interview once again. Growing up I watched a lot of Rush Hour and This Week on Dirt, even to this day I still enjoy re-uploads people post of the old TV airings with the good vintage commercials lol.
